Amaç: Bu çalışma, hemşirelerin algıladıkları stres düzeyini araştırmayı ve genel erteleme eğilimleri ve demografik özelliklerin, işle ilgili faktörlerin, algıladıkları stres üzerindeki etkisini incelemeyi amaçlamıştır. Gereç ve Yöntemler: Tanımlayıcı, kesitsel ve ilişki arayıcı tipteki bu araştırmaya Karadeniz Bölgesi?ndeki üçüncü basamak ve ikinci basamak 2 kamu hastanesinde çalışan 203 hemşire dâhil edildi. Veriler Kişisel Bilgi Formu, Algılanan Stres Ölçeği (ASÖ-14) ve Genel Erteleme Ölçeği (GEÖ) ile toplandı. Çalışmada elde edilen bulgular bilgisayar ortamına aktarılarak, istatistiksel analizler için IBM SPSS Statistics (versiyon 25.0), AMOS ve SPSS PROCES MACRO kullanıldı. Verilerin analizinde tanımlayıcı istatistikler, bağımsız t-testi, tek yönlü varyans analizi, Pearson korelasyon analizi ve regresyon analizi kullanıldı. Ölçeklerin geçerlilik güvenilirlik analizi için, Cronbach'ın alfa katsayısına bakıldı. Bulgular: Çalışmaya dâhil edilen hemşirelerin %36'sının 20-29 yaş grubunda, çoğunluğunun kadın, yarıdan fazlasının lisans mezunu ve evli olduğu belirlendi. Bu çalışmada hemşirelerin ASÖ-14'ten alınan puan ortalamasının 42,96±6,70 ve GEÖ puan ortalamasının 37,95±13,65 olduğu belirlendi. Regresyon analizine göre algılanan stres, hemşirelerin genel erteleme eğilimini pozitif yönlü ve anlamlı etkilemektedir (B=0,164; p=0,019). Demografik değişkenlerin algılanan stres ile genel erteleme eğilimi ilişkisinde aracılık rolü olmadığı belirlendi. Sonuç: Bu çalışmada, hemşirelerin stres düzeylerinin yüksek, erteleme eğiliminin düşük olduğu, algılanan stres ve genel erteleme eğilimi arasında pozitif yönlü bir ilişki olduğu ve demografik değişkenlerin bu ilişkide aracılık rolünün bulunmadığı belirlendi.

Objective: This study aimed to investigate the perceived stress level of nurses and to examine the effects of general procrastination tendencies and demographic characteristics, work-related factors, on perceived stress. Material and Methods: For this descriptive, cross-sectional and correlational study, 203 nurses working in two tertiary and second level public hospitals in the Black Sea region were included. Data were collected with Personal Information Form, Perceived Stress Scale (PSS-14) and General Procrastination Scales (GPS). The findings obtained in the study were transferred to the computer environment. For the statistical analysis, IBM SPSS Statistics (version 25.0), AMOS and SPSS PROCES MACRO were used. In the analysis of the data, descriptive statistics, independent t-test, one-way analysis of variance, Pearson correlation analysis and regression analysis were used. Cronbach's alpha coefficient was used for the validity and reliability analysis of the scales. Results: It was determined that 36% of the nurses that included in the study were in the 20-29 age group, most of them were women, more than half of them were having bachelors degree and married. In this study, it was determined that the mean score of the nurses from the PSS-14 was 42.96±6.70 and the mean of the GPS score was 37.95±13.65. According to the regression analysis, perceived stress has a positive and significant effect on the general procrastination tendency of nurses (B=0.164, p=0.019). It was determined that demographic variables did not have a mediating role in the relationship between perceived stress and general procrastination. Conclusion: In this study, it was determined that nurses' stress levels were high, procrastination was low, there was a positive relationship between perceived stress and general procrastination, and demographic variables did not have a mediating role in this relationship.
