Bu çalışma, CrossFit antrenmanlarının fiziksel, mental ve fizyolojik bileşenlerinin incelenmesi amacıyla derleme şeklinde planlanmıştır. CrossFit; süreklilik gösteren, yüksek şiddetli ve fonksiyonel hareketler içeren çok yönlü bir antrenman yöntemidir. Belirli bir ısınma periyodundan sonra 'günün antrenmanı (GA)' adı verilen, zamana karşı ya da dairesel olarak uygulanan bir antrenman sıralamasını izler. Yapılan çalışmalar, CrossFit antrenmanları sonrasında kişilerin, toplam çalışma kapasitelerinde artış, kardiyovasküler dayanıklılık, kuvvet, güç, sürat, koordinasyon, esneklik, çeviklik ve denge başta olmak üzere bazı fiziksel ve fizyolojik kapasitelerinde gelişme olduğu vurgulamaktadır. Diğer bir yandan ise CrossFit uygulamaları sırasında, eşlik eden yorgunluk etkileriyle birlikte çok sayıda tekrar için gerçekleştirilen yüksek teknik egzersizlerin kullanılması, kötü tekniğe yol açma potansiyeli ve dolayısıyla katılımcılar için bir yaralanma riskini de oluşturmaktadır. Buna rağmen CrossFit'in, insanların sadece bedenen gelişimlerini değil, aynı zamanda kişisel kimliklerini de geliştirmeye olan katkıları ve özellikle aidiyet duygusunun artışı için birçok bileşeni içerisinde barındırması nedeni ile uygulayıcıların tamamının, yapı içerisindeki duygusal bağlanma seviyelerinde yüksek artış olduğu gözlemlenmektedir.

The aim of this study was to evaluate to the physical, mental and physiological components of crossfit workouts as a hollistic approach. The CrossFit is a versatile training method with continuous, high intensity and functional movements. After a certain warm-up period, it follows a training session called 'workout of the day (WOD)' that is applied over time or in a circuit manner. Studies emphasized that after the CrossFit workouts, some physical and physiological capacities have been improved, especially in the increase of total working capacities, cardiovascular endurance, strength, power, speed, coordination, flexibility, agility and balance abilities. On the other hand, the use of high technical exercises for multiple repetitions along with accompanying fatigue effects during CrossFit workouts also creates the potential risk of injury to the participants. However, CrossFit contributes to improving not only the physical development of people, but also their personal identity and includes many components especially for the increase of sense of belonging; so it is observed that all of the practitioners have a high increase in their emotional dependency levels.
