ÖZET
 Amaç: Üniversitede öğrenim gören öğrencilerin beslenme alışkanlıkları ile akademik başarıları arasındaki ilişkiyi belirlemektir. Gereç ve Yöntemler: Çalışma, 2017-2018 bahar sömestrinde Mersin ilinde bulunan bir üniversitede 1.020 gönüllü öğrenciyle gerçekleştirilmiş tanımlayıcı ve kesitsel tipte bir araştırmadır. Çalışmanın yürütülmesi için gerekli etik kurul izni alınmış, veriler 'Öğrenci tanıtım formu' ve 'Beslenme Alışkanlıkları İndeksi (BAİ)' ile toplanmıştır. BAİ, öğrencilerin beslenme alışkanlıklarının belirlemek amacıyla kullanılmıştır. Verilerin analizinde; ortalama, standart sapma, tek yönlü varyans analizi, t-testi ve Pearson korelasyon testi kullanılmıştır. Bulgular:Öğrencilerin yaş ortalamalarının 21,23±2,98 yıl, akademik not ortalamalarının (ANO) ise 2,62±0,60 olduğu belirlenmiştir. Öğrencilerin %66,2'si 'normal ağırlıkta', %44,3'ü beslenme alışkanlıkları indeksine göre 'yüksek risk' düzeyinde ve %51,5'inin ANO'sunun 'normal başarı' düzeyinde olduğu belirlenmiştir. Öğrencilerin BAİ puan ortalamaları 13,60±4,14 olarak bulunmuştur. Çalışmada BAİ puan ortalamaları; 21 yaş ve altında olan, ailesinden ayrı yaşayan, egzersiz yapmayan, düzenli kahvaltı yapmayan, kızartma, pilav, makarna ve alkol tüketen öğrencilerde anlamlı derecede yüksek saptanmıştır. Ayrıca, çalışmada öğrencilerin BAİ puan ortalamaları ile ANO'ları arasında negatif iyi derecede bir korelasyon belirlenmiştir. Sonuç: Çalışmada, öğrencilerin beslenme alışkanlıklarıyla ilgili risk düzeyi artıkça, akademik başarılarının düştüğü saptanmıştır.

ABSTRACT
 Objective: The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between academic success with nutritional habits of students studying at university. Material and Methods: The study is a descriptive and cross-sectional study carry out with 1.020 volunteer students at a university in Mersin province during the spring semester of 2017-2018. The necessary ethics committee approval was taken to conducted the research. Data were collected using an 'Student identification form' and The Eating Habits Index (EHI). The EHI was used to determine nutritional habit of the students. Means, standard deviations, t-test, ANOVA and pearson correlation analysis were used for the analysis. Results: The mean age of the students was 21.23±2.98, and the mean academic success point was 2.62±0.60. It was determined that 66.2% of the students were normal weight, 44.3% were high risk nutritional habits and 51.5% of them were normal success level. The mean EHI score of the students was found 13.60±4.14. In this study, the mean score of EHI of students of 21 years and under, living apart from family, not exercising, not having regular breakfast, consuming frying, rice, pasta and alcohol were found to be higher statistically significant difference. In addition, there was a negative correlation between the mean scores of EHI of the students and their mean of academic success point. Conclusion: In the study, it was determined that as the risk level of nutritional habits of students increased, their academic success decreased.

4.2. People benefiting from the services provided by "Turkiye Klinikleri" and using the website can use the "SITE" only according to the law and only for personal reasons. Users have the criminal and civil liability for every process and action they take in the "SITE". Also, force majeure situations include but not limited to natural disasters, rebellion, war, strike, communication problems, infrastructure and internet failure, power cut and bad weather conditions.

8. LAW AND AUTHORISATION TO FOLLOW

Turkish Law will be applied in practicing, interpreting the hereby "Terms of Use" and managing the emerging legal relationships within this "Terms of Use" in case of finding element of foreignness, except for the rules of Turkish conflict of laws. Ankara Courts and Enforcement Offices are entitled in any controversy happened or may happen due to hereby contract.

9. CLOSING AND AGREEMENT

Hereby "Terms of Use" come into force when announced in the "SITE" by "Turkiye Klinikleri". The users are regarded to agree to hereby contract terms by using the "SITE". "Turkiye Klinikleri" may change the contract terms and the changes will be come into force by specifying the version number and the date of change on time it is published in the "SITE".
