Amaç: Bu çalışmada, ülkemizin güneydoğusunda yaşayan gebelerde prenatal bağlanma ve algılanan sosyal destek arasındaki ilişkinin değerlendirilmesi amaçlanmıştır. Gereç ve Yöntemler: Kesitsel ve tanımlayıcı tipteki bu araştırma, Türkiye'nin güneydoğusunda yer alan Batman Kadın Hastalıkları ve Çocuk Hastanesi Kadın Doğum Polikliniğine antenatal takip için başvuran, 20-39. gebelik haftasında olan 200 gebe ile yapılmıştır. Araştırmada veri toplama araçları olarak, 'Gebe Tanıtım Formu', 'Prenatal Bağlanma Envanteri' ve 'Çok Boyutlu Algılanan Sosyal Destek Ölçeği' kullanılmıştır. Bulgular: Araştırmaya katılan gebelerin yaş ortalamaları 26,78±6,38, ortalama gebelik sayıları 3,03±2,02 ve ortalama gebelik haftaları 33,33±4,19'dur. Çalışmamıza katılan gebelerin Prenatal Bağlanma Envanteri ve Çok Boyutlu Algılanan Sosyal Destek Ölçeği toplam puanları ile eğitim, çalışma ve gebeliği planlama durumları arasında istatistiksel olarak anlamlı ilişki bulunmuştur (p<0,05). Gebelerin algıladıkları sosyal destek puanları ile prenatal bağlanma puanları arasında istatistiksel olarak anlamlı ilişki saptanmıştır (p<0,001). Sonuç: Çalışmadan elde edilen sonuçlara göre gebelerin eğitim düzeyi azaldıkça prenatal bağlanma ve algılanan sosyal desteğin azaldığı bulunmuştur. Çalışan ve gebeliği planlı olan kadınların prenatal bağlanma ve algıladıkları sosyal destek düzeyleri daha yüksektir. Gebelerin algıladıkları sosyal destek puanları arttıkça prenatal bağlanma puanlarının arttığı bulunmuştur.

Objective: This study aimed to assess prenatal attachment and perceived social support among pregnant women living in the southeast of Turkey. Material and Methods: This cross-sectional descriptive study was conducted in Batman where at the southeast of Turkey in the obstetrics and gynecology department of women and children's health hospital with 200 pregnant women in 20-39th gestational ages and applied for the antenatal follow-up. Research data were collected with 'Pregnant Women Descriptive Form', 'Prenatal Attachment Inventory' and 'Multidimensional Perceived Social Support Scale'. Results: The mean age of the pregnant women was 26.78±6.38, the mean number of childbirth was 3.03±2.02, and the mean gestational age was 33.33±4.19. There were statistically significant relations between the educational levels, employment status, and planning status of the pregnant women with total scores of the Prenatal Attachment Inventory and the Perceived Social Support Scale (p<0.05). There was a statistically significant relationship between total scores of prenatal attachment scale and perceived social support scale of pregnant women (p<0.001). Conclusion: According to the results obtained from the study, prenatal attachment and perceived social support decreased as the educational level decreased. Pregnant women who were employed and had planned pregnancies have higher prenatal attachment levels and perceived social support. Pregnant women's perceived social support scores increased their prenatal attachment scores were found to be increased.
