Objective: This research aims to analyze the effect of 6 volleyball rotations on performance and to determine which rotation affects the match result and to what extent. In this direction, the research group; It consists of senior men's competitions played in the 2021-2022 Turkish Volleyball Federation leagues. Material and Methods: Data were collected from the official website of the Turkish Volleyball Federation by using Data Volley Software program reports as data collection tool in the research. Data were analyzed with IBM SPSS V23. Compliance with the normal distribution was examined according to the kurtosis and skewness values. Discriminant analysis was performed to examine the effects of independent variables in separating the match result. Significance level was taken as p<0.050. Results: When all variables were evaluated according to the findings, a significant difference was found. According to the separation loads coefficients, it is seen that all of the rotations in the model are important, and it was found that the most effective rotation in separating the groups from each other was the setter 2nd region, 6th region, 3rd region, 5th region, 4th region, and 1st region, respectively. Looking at Wilks' lambda value, it was seen that the best variable in separating the groups was 0.736 setter in the second region. Conclusion: It was concluded that while all rotations had an effect on the match in the senior volleyball league, it was more effective in the setter 2 position. Coaches usually try to set up their pre-match line-up to be 3-for-off (the position with the setter on the back line). However, research shows that the double attack (the position where the setter is in front) is more effective on the match. It may be suggested to the coaches to start the matches by making a position formation while the setter is on the front line.
