Araştırmada elde edilen verilerin analizi ve yorumlanması sürecindeki aşamalar sırasıyla; metaforların belirlenmesi, metaforların sınıflandırılması, kategori geliştirme, geçerlik ve güvenirliği sağlama ve verilerin analizdir. Bulgular: Antrenörlerin, ''sporcunun ailesi'' kavramı için oluşturdukları tüm ifadelerin incelenmesi sonucunda, 99 farklı metafor elde edilmiştir.
