Amaç: Perinatal kayıp yaşayan kadının deneyimlediği evrensel bir duygu olan yas, şiddetli, karmaşık ve uzun süreli olabilmekte, yaşanan duygusal dalgalanmalar, bireyler arasında değişiklik gösterebilmektedir. Bu çalışmanın amacı, perinatal kayıp yaşayan kadınların yas düzeylerini belirlemektir. Gereç ve Yöntemler: Tanımlayıcı ve kesitsel nitelikte olan araştırma, Mart-Mayıs 2021 tarihleri arasında 408 kadın ile yürütülmüştür. Araştırma verilerinin toplanmasında, kişisel bilgi formu ve Perinatal Yas Ölçeği kullanılmıştır. Google Formlar aracılığı ile toplanan verilerin analizinde tanımlayıcı istatistik, bağımsız gruplar arasında t-testi, tek yönlü ANOVA, korelasyon analizi; nonparametrik veriler için Kruskal-Wallis ve Mann-Whitney U testi kullanılmıştır. Bulgular: Çalışmada, kadınların %47,3'ü kaybı gebeliğin ilk 12 haftasında yaşamışlardır. Kadınların aktif keder alt boyut puan ortalaması 30,60±8,03, başa çıkmada zorlanma alt boyut puan ortalaması 23,93±7,79, umutsuzluk alt boyut puan ortalaması 22,95±7,37 ve ölçek toplam puan ortalaması 77,50±21,76 olarak saptanmıştır. Ayrıca çalışmada, kadınların kayba verdikleri tepkinin ve yas düzeylerinin yaş, eğitim durumu, gelir algısı, gebeliğin planlı olma durumu, gebelik haftası, kayıp zamanı ve sosyal destek sistemleri gibi pek çok faktörden etkilendiği bulunmuştur. Sonuç: Bu çalışmada, perinatal kayıp yaşayan kadınların yas düzeylerinin düşük olduğu ve sıklıkla aktif keder duygusunu yaşadıkları, başa çıkmada zorlanma ve umutsuzluk duygularını ise baskın olarak yaşamadıkları sonucuna ulaşılmıştır.

Objective: Grief, which is a universal emotion experienced by women who have experienced perinatal loss, can be severe, complex and long-lasting, and the emotional fluctuations experienced may vary between individuals. The aim of this study is to determine the grief levels of women who experienced perinatal loss. Material and Methods: The descriptive and cross-sectional study was conducted with 408 women between March and May 2021. Personal information form and Perinatal Grief Scale were used to collect research data. In the analysis of data collected via Google Forms, descriptive statistics, t-test among independent groups, one-way ANOVA, correlation analysis; Kruskal-Wallis and Mann-Whitney U test were used for non-parametric data. Results: In the study, 47.3% of the women experienced the loss in the first 12 weeks of pregnancy. The mean active grief subdimension score of the women was 30.60±8.03, the mean of difficulty in coping sub-dimension score was 23.93±7.79, the mean of hopelessness sub-dimension score was 22.95±7.37, and the mean total score of the scale was 77.50±21.76. In addition, it was found in the study that women's response to loss and their level of grief were affected by many factors such as age, education level, income perception, planned pregnancy, gestational week, time of loss, and social support systems. Conclusion: In this study, it was concluded that the grief levels of women who experienced perinatal loss were low and they often experienced active grief, but they did not experience difficulties in coping and hopelessness predominantly.
