ABSTRACT
Game theory is the analysis of consequential interaction between various actors by use of mathematical representation and modelling. In this study, game theory is applied in 2 simple medicine-related and thus medical-ethically relevant scenarios based on real life. With all its subsets and intersections, medicine today implies a realm of interaction by numerous agents. However, if the field in which to act is medicine, all the medical, commercial, official, and financial actors must operate in line with medical ethics, and must develop acceptable strategies to navigate between the technically and ethically feasible and objectionable. Originally rooted in economics, game theory as a discipline of strategy is a valuable tool in medical ethics as well.
