ABSTRACT
Objective: In this study, it is aimed to make a bibliometric analysis of articles on nursing and burnout. Material and Methods: The research includes articles published between 2014-2023 on ''nursing and burnout''. The data of the research were collected on 03.03.2023 using the Web of Science database. ''burnout'' was used as a keyword, and publications between 2014 and 2023 with ''article'' document types were included in the analysis. Nursing was determined as the study category. In this context, content analysis of 4,064 articles was made through the VOSviewer program. Results: A total of 17,498 authors contributed to articles on ''nursing and burnout'' between the years included in the analysis. When the most frequently used keywords are examined; It is seen that ''burnout'' 1,026 times, ''COVID-19'' 286 times, ''nurses'' 264 times, and ''job satisfaction'' 244 times. The university that contributed the most documents was ''Stanford University'' (111 documents). The most productive country in terms of the number of documents was the USA with the number of 1,869 documents. Türkiye contributed with 82 documents and 538 citations. When the total number of citations of the countries is examined, the USA is the country that contributes the most with 23,828 citations. Conclusion: Nurses, working conditions, workload, pandemic, natural disasters, shift system, etc. They experience high rates of burnout due to many issues. In this direction, the number of studies on burnout in nurses is increasing day by day to investigate the cause and make guiding suggestions. Considering the limitations of bibliometric analysis, it can be suggested to make new solution-oriented publications on nursing and burnout, to examine the publications with in-depth qualitative analysis, and to eliminate the deficiencies in line with the results to be revealed.

Keywords: Nurses; job satisfaction; burnout
