ÖZET
Amaç: Hemşirelik öğrencilerinin mahremiyet bilinciyle empati düzeyleri arasındaki ilişkiyi belirlemektir. Gereç ve Yöntemler: Çalışma, Pamukkale Üniversitesi Sağlık Bilimleri Fakültesi'nde öğrenim gören hemşirelik öğrencilerinde 3 Şubat 2020-13 Mart 2020 tarihleri arasında tanımlayıcı ilişki arayıcı tipte yapılmıştır. Veriler toplama formu olarak 649 öğrenciye, Kişisel Bilgi Formu, Mahremiyet Bilinci Ölçeği, Temel Empati Ölçeği kullanılmıştır. Bulgular: Araştırmadaki öğrencilerin yaş ortalaması 20,49±1,44 ve %81,0'ı kadındır. Öğrencilerin Mahremiyet Bilinci Ölçeği toplam puan ortalaması 3,43±0,40, alt boyutlarında kendine ait mahremiyet bilinci 4,45±0,72, başkaları için mahremiyet bilinci 3,09±0,50 ve başkalarının mahremiyetini sürdürmek için davranışlar 2,52±0,62 puan olarak bulunmuştur. Öğrencilerin Temel Empati Ölçeği toplam puanı 60,22±6,59, alt boyutlarında, duygusal empati 30,64±4,94, Bilişsel Empati 29,58±3,13 olarak belirlenmiştir. Başkaları için mahremiyet bilinci alt boyutunun puan ortalaması, duygusal empati alt boyutu ve Temel Empati Ölçeği toplam puanı 3. sınıflarda diğer sınıflara göre daha yüksek saptanıştır (p<0,05). Almış olduğu etik eğitimini yeterli bulan öğrencilerin, kendine ait mahremiyet bilinci alt boyut puan ortalamasının daha yüksek olduğu, başkalarının mahremiyetini sürdürmek için davranışlar alt boyut puan ortalamasının daha düşük olduğu saptanmıştır (p<0,05).Öğrencilerin Mahremiyet Bilinci Ölçeği ve Temel Empati Ölçeği puanları arasında anlamlı bir ilişki bulunmuştur (p<0,01). Sonuç: Hemşirelik öğrencilerinin Mahremiyet Bilinci Ölçeği toplam puan ortalaması orta düzeyde, kendine ait mahremiyet bilinci alt boyutunda yüksek düzeyde, başkaları için mahremiyet bilinci alt boyutunda orta düzeyde, başkalarının mahremiyetini sürdürmek için davranışlar alt boyutu düşük olarak bulunmuştur.

ABSTRACT
Objective: This study was conducted for the purpose of determining to the relationship between nursing students' privacy awareness and empathy levels. Material and Methods: The study was carried out as a descriptive and correlational study with nursing students studying at Pamukkale University, Faculty of Health Sciences between 3 February and 13 March 2020. The data of the study were collected to 649 students by using Personal Information Form, Privacy Consciousness Scale and Basic Empathy Scale. Results: It was determined that age average of the nursing students who were included in the study was 20.49±1.44 years and (81.0%) of them were female. In the study, it was found that the nursing students'total Privacy Consciousness Scale score average was 3.43±0.40, the nursing students' Privacy Consciousness for the Self score average 4.45±0.72, Privacy Consciousness for Others score average 3.09±0.50 and Behaviors to Maintain the Privacy of Others 2.52±0.62. The total score of the nursing students' Basic Empathy Scale was determined as 60.22±6.59, its subscales were Emotional Empathy 30.64±4.94, and Cognitive Empathy score 29.58±3.13. It was determined Privacy Consciousness for Others score average was higher in third grade students (p<0.05). It was determined that Privacy Consciousness for the Self subscale score average, Emotional Empathy subscale score average and Basic Empathy Scale scores were higher and Behaviors to Maintain the Privacy of Others subscale score subscale average was lower in students who find their ethics education sufficient (p<0.05). A significant correlation was found between nursing students' Privacy Awareness Scale and Basic Empathy Scale scores (p<0.01). Conclusion: The total score average of the nursing Students' Privacy Consciousness Scale was found to be intermediate level, Privacy Consciousness for the Self subscale score level was high, Privacy Consciousness for Others subscale score average, and the Behaviors to Maintain the Privacy of Others subscale score was low.

1. TERMS OF USE

1.1. 4. GENERAL PROVISIONS

4.1. "Turkiye Klinikleri" is completely free to determine which of the services and contents provided in the "SITE" will be charged.

4.2. People benefiting from the services provided by "Turkiye Klinikleri" and using the website can use the "SITE" only according to the law and only for personal reasons. Users have the criminal and civil liability for every process and action they take in the "SITE". Every USER agrees, declares and undertakes that they will not proceed by any function or action infringement of rights of "Turkiye Klinikleri"s and/or other third parties', they are the exclusive right holder on usage, processing, storage, made public and revealing any written, visual or auditory information reported to Turkiye Klinikleri" and/or "SITE" to the third parties. Any harm, criminal and civil liability resulted or will result from changes and/or corrections required by "Turkiye Klinikleri" and were not made on time by the "USER"s belongs completely to the users.

4.8. "Turkiye Klinikleri" may give links through the "SITE" to other websites and/or "CONTEXT"s and/or folders that are outside of their control and owned and run by third parties. These links are provided for ease of reference only and do not hold qualification for support the respective web SITE or the admin or declaration or guarantee for the information inside. 4.9. "Turkiye Klinikleri" may use the information provided to them by the "USERS" through the "SITE" in line with the terms of the "PRIVACY POLICY" and "USER CONTRACT". 5.1. Being late or failure of performance or non-defaulting of this and similar cases like this will not be the case from the viewpoint of "Turkiye Klinikleri", and "Turkiye Klinikleri" will not have any damage liability for these situations. "Force majeure" term will be regarded as outside of the concerned party's reasonable control and any situation that "Turkiye Klinikleri" cannot prevent even though it shows due diligence. Also, force majeure situations include but not limited to natural disasters, rebellion, war, strike, communication problems, infrastructure and internet failure, power cut and bad weather conditions.

8. LAW AND AUTHORISATION TO FOLLOW

Turkish Law will be applied in practicing, interpreting the hereby "Terms of Use" and managing the emerging legal relationships within this "Terms of Use" in case of finding element of foreignness, except for the rules of Turkish conflict of laws. Ankara Courts and Enforcement Offices are entitled in any controversy happened or may happen due to hereby contract.

9. CLOSING AND AGREEMENT

Hereby "Terms of Use" come into force when announced in the "SITE" by "Turkiye Klinikleri". The users are regarded to agree to hereby contract terms by using the "SITE". "Turkiye Klinikleri" may change the contract terms and the changes will be come into force by specifying the version number and the date of change on time it is published in the "SITE".
