Quantitative data were collected with ''nursing students information form'', ''COVID-19 Fear Scale'' and ''Learning and Studying Approaches Inventory''. For qualitative data, open-ended questions were asked and inductive content analysis of the data was made, and main themes and sub-themes were created. Results: The mean age was 21.20±3.13 years, and 69.33% were women (n=199). The mean score of the fear of COVID19 scale was 17.82±6.52, and the mean score of female students was higher. 94.42% of the students stated that their learning processes; 91.3% of them said that their study status was affected; 71.4% think that their learning needs are not met. It was determined that there was a low-level positive and significant relationship between the students' fear of coronavirus disease-2019 and their strategic approach score. The qualitative themes of the research were being a nursing student in distance education; Staying away from clinical practice and coronavirus has been determined as a nightmare. Conclusion: It was determined that the level of chorophobia of nursing students was high. Suspension of clinical practice negatively affected nursing education, study and learning.
