Amaç: Bu araştırma, hemşirelerin koronavirüs hastalığı-2019 [coronavirus disease-2019 (COVID-19)] aşılaması konusundaki tutumlarını incelemek amacıyla yapılmıştır. Gereç ve Yöntemler: Tanımlayıcı olarak planlanan araştırma Kasım 2021-Aralık 2021 tarihleri arasında bir üniversite hastanesi bünyesinde çalışan 174 hemşire ile yürütüldü. Araştırmanın verileri tanıtıcı veri formu ve ''COVID-19 Aşısına Yönelik Tutumlar Ölçeği'' ile toplanmıştır. Verilerin dağılımlarına göre bağımsız gruplarda t-testi, Mann-Whitney U, One-way ANOVA ve Kruskal Wallis testleri uygulanmıştır. Bulgular: Hemşirelerin %40,2'sinin 20-29 yaş aralığında, %79,9'unun kadın, %58,6'sının evli, %83,3'ünün üniversite mezunu, %64,4'ünün hiç COVID-19 tanısı almadığı, %82,8'inin kronik hastalığı bulunmadığı, %80,5'inin COVID19 aşısı olduğu belirlenmiştir. Çalışmada, sağlık personeli olmasa da COVID-19 aşısı yaptırırım diyen hemşireler ile aşı yaptırmamayı destekleyici yeterli bilimsel kanıt olmadığını düşünen hemşirelerin aşıya karşı olumlu tutum içinde oldukları saptandı. Aşı reddinin yaygınlaşmasıyla toplum sağlığında bir değişiklik olmayacağını düşünenler ile aşılarla ilgili bilimsel araştırılmaların yapılması gerektiğini düşünen hemşirelerin COVID-19 aşı tutumunun düşük olduğu ve anlamlı bir fark olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Aşıya karşı olumsuz tutumun görev yapılan birimden etkilendiği belirlenmiştir (p<0,05). Sonuç: Bu çalışma sonucunda, görev yapılan kliniğin, hemşirelerin aşıya yönelik tutumunu etkilediği ve bilgilendirmeye ilişkin süreçlerde yaşanan karmaşanın aşı reddi için önemli bir faktör olduğu belirlenmiştir. Hemşirelerin aşı yaptırma durumunun görev yaptıkları birim özelinde değerlendirilmesi, olası aşı reddinin gerekçelerinin sorgulanarak doğru ve güvenilir bilgi kaynaklarına yönlendirilmesi önerilir.

Objective: This study was conducted to examine nurses' attitudes towards coronavirus disease-2019 (COVID-19) vaccination to better address barriers to vaccination. Material and Methods: The descriptive study was conducted with 174 nurses working at a university hospital between November 2021-December 2021. The data of the study were collected with the descriptive data form and the ''Attitudes Towards COVID-19 Vaccine Scale.'' According to the distribution of the data, t-test, Mann-Whitney U, One-way ANOVA and Kruskal Wallis tests were applied in independent groups. Results: It was determined that 40.2% of the nurses were 20-29 years old, 79.9% were women, 58.6% were married, 83.3% were university graduates, 64.4% had never been diagnosed with COVID-19, 82.8% had no chronic disease, and 80.5% had COVID-19 vaccine. In the study, the nurses who said that they would have the COVID-19 vaccine even if they were not health personnel. It was determined that the nurses who thought that there was not enough scientific evidence to support not getting the vaccine had a positive attitude towards the vaccine. It has been determined that there is a low and significant difference in the COVID-19 vaccine attitude of the nurses who think that there will be no change in public health with the spread of vaccine rejection and that scientific research should be done about vaccines. It was determined that the attitude towards the vaccine differed according to the unit (p<0.05). Conclusion: As a result of this study, it was determined that the clinic where they work affects the attitudes of nurses towards the vaccine and the confusion in the information processes is an important factor for vaccine rejection. It is recommended that the vaccination status of the nurses be evaluated in the unit they work in, and the reasons for the possible refusal of the vaccine should be questioned and directed to the correct and reliable information sources.
