ÖZET
 Amaç: YouTube, dünya çapında kullanılan en büyük internet platformlarından biridir. Birkaç çalışma, hasta bilgileri için YouTube videolarındaki bilgilerin kalitesinin düşük olduğunu göstermiştir. Bu çalışma, gut hastalığı için hasta bilgi kaynağı olarak YouTube videolarının içeriğini ve kalitesini değerlendirmeyi amaçlamaktadır. Gereç ve Yöntemler: Bu kesitsel çalışmada, 'gut hastalığı' anahtar kelimesi ile YouTube araması yapıldı ve ilk 152 video alaka düzeyine göre listelendi. Reklamlar, mükerrer videolar, Türkçe dışındaki dillerdeki videolar ve sessiz videolar çalışma dışı bırakıldı. Video özellikleri ('beğenme' sayısı, 'beğenmeme' sayısı, görüntülenme sayısı, videonun uzunluğu) ve yükleme kaynağı kaydedildi. Kalite analizi için DISCERN ve Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA) karşılaştırma kriterleri kullanıldı. Video kalitesi, yükleme kaynağı ve video özelliklerine göre değerlendirildi. Korelasyon analizi video özellikleri, JAMA ve DISCERN puanları arasında yapıldı. Bulgular: Toplam 106 video analiz edildi. En yaygın yükleme kaynağı doktorlardı (%49,1) ve içeriğin çoğunluğu (%30,2) semptomlar ve tedaviyle ilgiliydi. Ortalama DISCERN ve JAMA skorları sırasıyla 44,43 ve 2,54 idi. Bu puanlar doktorlar tarafından yüklenen videolarda en yüksek [sırasıyla 58 (28-74) ve 3 (1-4)] idi. Videonun süresi ile DISCERN ve JAMA puanları arasında pozitif bir korelasyon saptandı. Sonuç: YouTube'da gut hastalığı ile ilgili içeriğin çoğu düşük kalitedir. Sağlık çalışanları, YouTube'da sağlıkla ilgili bilgilerin öneminin farkında olmalı ve yüksek kaliteli, doğru ve güncel içerik sağlamalıdır.

ABSTRACT
 Objective: YouTube is one of the biggest internet platforms used worldwide. Several studies showed that quality of the information on YouTube videos for patient information is poor. This study aimed to evaluate the content and quality of YouTube videos, as a source of patient information for gout disease. Material and Methods: In this cross-sectional study, a YouTube search with the keyword 'gout disease' was performed, and the first 152 videos were listed according to relevancy. Advertisements, duplicate videos, videos in languages other than Turkish, and videos without audio were excluded. Video features (number of 'likes', 'dislikes', views, length of video), and source of upload were recorded. DISCERN and Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA) benchmark criteria were used for quality analysis. Video quality was assessed according to the source of upload and video features. The correlation analysis was performed between video features, JAMA, and DISCERN scores. Results: A total number of 106 videos were analyzed. The most common source of upload was physicians (49.1%) and majority of the content (30.2%) was about symptoms and treatment. Mean DISCERN and JAMA scores were 44.43 and 2.54, respectively. These scores were highest in videos uploaded by physicians [58 (28-74) and 3 (1-4), respectively]. There is a positive correlation between the duration of the video, DISCERN, and JAMA scores. Conclusion: The majority of content about gout on YouTube is poor quality. Health professionals should be aware of the importance of health-related information on YouTube and provide high-quality accurate and up-to-date content.

8. LAW AND AUTHORISATION TO FOLLOW

Turkish Law will be applied in practicing, interpreting the hereby "Terms of Use" and managing the emerging legal relationships within this "Terms of Use" in case of finding element of foreignness, except for the rules of Turkish conflict of laws. Ankara Courts and Enforcement Offices are entitled in any controversy happened or may happen due to hereby contract.

9. CLOSING AND AGREEMENT

Hereby "Terms of Use" come into force when announced in the "SITE" by "Turkiye Klinikleri". The users are regarded to agree to hereby contract terms by using the "SITE".
