Objective: This study investigated the acute effects of different warm-up programs on young soccer players' small-sided game performance. Material and Methods: Sixteen amateur male soccer players (age=15.25±0.86 years) participated voluntarily in the study. This study used three different warm-up programs, two different neuromuscular warm-up programs, and a traditional warm-up program for athletes. The soccer players played small-sided game after the warm-up program. The soccer players completed the Brunel Mood Scale before and after the small-sided game, the rating of perceived exertion, and the Exercise Enjoyment Scale at the end of each set of the small-sided game. The games were recorded with a camera, and technical analysis was performed. Results: According to the findings of the study, there was no statistically significant difference between the perceived exertion and mood responses (p>0.05); however, the players enjoyed the traditional warm-up program more (p<0.05). In addition, there were no statistically significant differences in the answers for successful passes, unsuccessful passes, successful shots, unsuccessful shots, interceptions, and turnover in technical actions (p>0.05). Conclusion: The results showed that different warm-up protocols increased the perception of enjoyment after the traditional warm-up during the small-sided game in amateur soccer players. However, the warm-up programs did not reveal a difference in the technical skill levels. Therefore, coaches can choose between different warm-up programs, considering the needs and desires of the players in the warm-up section, which is an essential part of training.
