Gereç ve Yöntemler: Araş- tırma, 02 Nisan 2020 tarihinde Ankara Şehir Hastanesi Kulak-BurunBoğaz, Genel Cerrahi ve Plastik Cerrahi Kli niklerinde yatarak tedavi gören 195 hasta ile gerçekleştirilmiştir. Veriler, hemşirelere yönelik sosyodemografik soru formu ve Newcastle Hemşirelik Bakımından Memnuniyet Ölçeği ile toplanmıştır. Verilerin analizinde 'Independent Sample-t' test (t-tablo değeri), 'Mann-Whitney U' test (Z-tablo değeri), ANOVA, Kruskal-Wallis H' test (χ2 -tablo değeri) kullanılmıştır. Objective: It was made descriptively in order to determine the satisfaction levels of the patients hospitalized in surgical clinics with regard to nursing care and the factors affecting it. Material and Methods: The research was carried out with 195 patients who were hospitalized in the Ear-Nose-Throat, General Surgery and Plastic Surgery Clinics of a training and research hospital in Ankara on April 02, 2020. The data were collected using a socio-demographic questionnaire for nurses and the Newcastle Nursing Satisfaction Scale. In the analysis of the data, 'Independent Sample-t' test (t-table value), 'Mann-Whitney U' test (Z-table value), ANOVA, Kruskal-Wallis H test (2-table value) were used. For statistical significance, p value was accepted to be less than 0.05. Results: It was determined that 58.5% of the patients participating in the study were male, 81% were married, 34.9% were primary school graduates and 32.3% were working as workers. According to the scale, the average score of satisfaction calculated over 95 points was found to be 83±16.08. It has been determined that the satisfaction of single patients is higher than married patients, 99.5% of the patients have the opportunity to convey their requests to the nurses and 97.4% of them can convey their complaints. Conclusion: It was observed that the patients were satisfied with the nursing care and their ability to convey their problems to the nurses, and it is recommended by the nurses to evaluate the expectations and requests of the patients periodically.
