Amaç: Kız ve erkek yüzücülerde ısınma yapılarak ve ısınma yapılmadan 4 tekrarlı 50 metre (m) karışık yüzme performansındaki kulaç mekaniğinin karşılaştırılmasıdır. Gereç ve Yöntemler: Çalışmaya; 19 kız, 19 erkek toplam 38 yüzücü (Xyaş=12,58±0,50 yıl; Xvücutağırlığı=45,68±8,30 kg; Xboyuzunluğu=156,94±7,11 cm) gönüllü olarak katılmıştır. Yüzücülerin fiziksel ölçümlerinden 24 saat sonra sudaki performans ölçümleri gerçekleştirilmiştir. Katılımcılar ayak, drill ve yüzme (ADY) çalışmalarını içeren ısınma protokolünü yüzdükten sonra 4x50 m karışık maksimal yüzme performansını sergilemişlerdir. Ertesi gün ısınma yapmadan aynı testi gerçekleştirmişlerdir. Yüzme testleri SJCAM marka dış kamera ile kayıt altına alınmış olup, görüntüler Kinovea 0.9.5 video analiz programına aktarılmıştır. Her yüzücünün bireysel olarak her 50 m için kulaç mekaniği ile ilgili tüm parametreleri [kulaç mesafesi (KM), kulaç sayısı (KS), kulaç sıklığı (KSık), kulaç indeksi (Kİ), bitiş süresi (BS), hız] hesaplanmıştır. Araştırmada verilerin analizi için IBM SPSS 24.0 programı kullanılmış, verilerin normal dağılım gösterdiği Skewness-Kurtosis değerleri ile belirlenmiştir. Kulaç mekaniğinin ısınmalı ve ısınmasız karşılaştırılması için Paired-Samples t testi; cinsiyetler arası farklılığın olup olmadığını belirlemek için Independent t-testi kullanılmıştır. Sonuç: Kız ve erkek yüzücülerde yapılan bu çalışmada, hem tüm grup hem de her iki grupta 4 farklı stil kısa mesafe yüzme performansının ADY ısınması sonrasında daha iyi olduğu tespit edilmiştir.

Objective: It is comparison of stroke mechanics in 4 repetitions 50 meter (m) medley swimming performance according to with and no warm-up in male and female swimmers. Material and Methods: A total of 38 swimmers (Xage=12.58±0.50 years; Xbodyweight=45.68±8.30 kg; Xheight=156.94±7.11 cm), 19 girls and 19 boys, participated in the study voluntarily. Performance measurements in the water were carried out 24 hours after the physical measurements of the swimmers. After swimming warm-up protocol (KDS), which includes kick, drill, swimming exercises, participants exhibited mixed maximal swimming performance of 4x50 m. The next day, they performed the test without warm-up. Swimming tests were recorded with a SJCAM external camera, images were transferred to Kinovea 0.9.5 video analysis program. All parameters related to stroke mechanics [stroke length (KM), stroke count (KS), stroke rate (KSık), stroke index (Kİ), end time (BS), velocity] were calculated for each swimmer and 50 m. IBM SPSS 24.0 program was used for analysis of data, it was determined by Skewness-Kurtosis that data showed normal distribution. Paired-Samples t test for comparison of stroke mechanics according to warm-up protocols; Independent t-test was used to determine whether there was a difference between the sexes. Significant level was taken as p<0.05. Results: There was a significant difference between with and no warm-up in butterfly KS (p=0.014); breaststroke KM (p=0.002), KSık (p=0.012), Kİ (p=0.003), BS (p=0.032); freestyle KSık (p=0.001) and BS (p=0.006) (p<0.05). Conclusion: Four different styles of shortdistance swimming performance were better after KDS warm-up in both groups.
