Üstbilişsel İşlevleri Tarama Ölçeği'nin Türkçe Geçerlik ve Güvenirlik Çalışması: Metodolojik Çalışma

ÖZET
Amaç: Son yıllarda yapılan çalışmalarda, ruh sağlığı üzerine oldukça etkili olan üstbiliş kavramına odaklanıldığı görülmektedir. Bu nedenle ulusal alanda üstbilişsel işlevleri doğru anlamda değerlendirecek bir ölçeğe ihtiyaç olduğu düşünülmektedir. Bu çalışmada, Üstbilişsel İşlevleri Tarama Ölçeği'nin (ÜİTÖ-12) Türkçe geçerlik ve güvenirliğini değerlendirmek amaçlanmıştır. Gereç ve Yöntemler: Metodolojik tipte yapılan çalışmanın verileri, Mayıs 2024 yılında Türk toplumunda yer alan 18-65 yaş arası erişkinlerden toplandı. Verilerin toplanmasında kişisel bilgi formu ve ÜİTÖ-12 kullanıldı. Verilerin analizi SPSS 27 ve AMOS 24 programları ile yapıldı. Ölçeğin analizinde dil ve kapsam geçerliliği, açıklayıcı ve doğrulayıcı faktör analizi, benzeşim ve ayrışım geçerliliği, Cronbach alfa katsayısı, madde-toplam puan korelasyonu ve test-tekrar test güvenirlik yöntemleri kullanıldı. Bulgular: Açıklayıcı faktör analizi sonucu ölçeğin 12 maddeli hâli korunmuştur. Ölçeğin Türk toplumunda 3 faktör altında toplandığı ve toplam varyansın %60,37'sini açıkladığı saptandı. Ölçeğin 3 faktörlü yapısı, doğrulayıcı faktör analizi ile doğrulandı. Ölçeğin Cronbach alfa katsayısı 0,72 olduğu ve faktör yüklerinin 0,50 ile 0,85 aralığında değiştiği saptandı. Ayrıca test-tekrar test korelasyon katsayısının r=0,912 olduğu bulundu (p<0,01). Sonuç: ÜİTÖ-12'nin, Türk dili ve kültürü için geçerli ve güvenilir bir ölçüm aracı olduğu saptandı. Ölçeğin uygulama açısından pratik ve avantajlı olacağından ve üstbilişsel işlevler hakkında spesifik alt boyutlar sunduğundan, ruh sağlığı profesyonelleri tarafından kullanılması önerilmektedir.

ABSTRACT
Objective: Recent studies have focused on the concept of metacognition, which is highly effective on mental health. Therefore, it is thought that there is a need for a scale that will accurately assess metacognitive functions in the national field. This study aimed to evaluate the Turkish validity and reliability of the Metacognitive Functions Screening Scale (MFSS-12). Material and Methods: The data of this methodological study were collected from adults aged 18-65 years in the Turkish population in May 2024. Personal information form and MFSS-12 were used for data collection. Data were analyzed with SPSS 27 and AMOS 24 programs. Language and content validity, convergent and discriminant validity, exploratory and confirmatory factor analysis, Cronbach's alpha coefficient, item-total score correlation and test-retest reliability methods were used in the analysis. Results: As a result of the exploratory factor analysis, no items were removed from the scale and the 12-item version of the scale was retained. The scale was grouped under three factors and explained 60.37% of the total variance in the Turkish population. The three-factor structure of the scale was confirmed using confirmatory factor analysis. Cronbach's alpha coefficient was 0.72 and factor loadings ranged between 0.50 and 0.85. The test-retest correlation coefficient was found to be r=0.912 (p<0.01). Conclusion: The MFSS-12 was found to be a valid and reliable measurement tool for Turkish language and culture. Since the scale will be practical and advantageous in terms of application and offers specific sub-dimensions about metacognitive functions, it can be recommended to be used by mental health professionals.
