Amaç: Çalışmanın amacı, sağlık kurumlarında klinik uygulama eğitimi için kabul edilen sağlık disiplini öğrencilerinin klinik beceri eğitimi süresince klinik uygulama alanlarında karşılaştıkları sorunları, beklentilerini ve çözüm önerilerini belirlemektir. Gereç ve Yöntemler: Kesitsel tanımlayıcı nitelikte olan çalışmaya, 23.11.2016 - 23.02.2017 tarihleri arasında İstanbul ilinde bir Kamu Hastaneleri Birliği Genel Sekreterliğine bağlı 12 sağlık tesisinde klinik uygulama eğitimine devam eden 3426 öğrenci arasından, 0,05 örnekleme hatası ile 18 yaş ve üzerinde olan, gönüllü 416 sağlık disiplini öğrencisi dahil edilmiştir. Veriler literatür rehberliğinde geliştirilen ve toplam 11 sorudan oluşan anket formu kullanılarak toplanmış ve veriler SPSS programı kullanılarak analiz edilmiştir. Bulgular: Çalışmada, öğrencilerin %74'ünün (n=308) klinik uygulama süresince sorun yaşadığı belirlenmiştir. Öğrencilerin klinik uygulama alanlarında yaşadığı sorunlar içerisinde 'görev dışı sorumluluk alma', 'hastaların öğrenciyi ciddiye almaması', 'teorik bilgileri klinikte/ birimde uygulayamama', 'öğrenci sayısının fazla olması nedeniyle öğrenciyi klinikte istihdam edecek yerin olmaması' ifadeleri bulunmuştur. Katılımcıların klinik uygulama alanlarına yönelik beklentilerine bakıldığında ise; 'öğrenciye değer verilmesi', 'öğretmen/öğretim elemanlarının uygulamaya katılması', 'ekip iletişiminin iyi olması' ve 'dinlenme ve giyinme odasının olması' ifadelerinin ilk sıralarda yer aldığı görülmüştür. Sonuç: Klinik uygulama ortamlarının iyileştirilmesinde, sağlık disiplini öğrencilerinin klinik beceri eğitimi süresince klinik uygulama alanlarında karşılaştıkları sorunların ve beklentilerinin belirlenmesinin katkı sağlayabileceği düşünülmektedir.

Objective: The aim of the study is to determine the problems, expectations and solution suggestions of the health discipline students who are accepted for clinical practice training in health institutions during their clinical skills training. Material and Methods: A cross-sectional descriptive study was conducted in Istanbul between 23.11.2016 and 23.02.2017 by the Secretary General of a Public Hospitals Association among the 3426 students attending clinical practice training in 12 health facilities, 416 health discipline students, aged 18 years or older, with a sampling error of 0.05 were included. The data were collected using a questionnaire form consisting of 11 questions developed by literature guidance and analyzed using SPSS program. Results: In the study, it was determined that 74% (n=308) of the students experienced problems during the clinical practice. It was found statements that the problems experienced by the students in clinical practice 'taking the responsibility out of the task', 'patients do not take the student seriously', 'not applying the theoretical information in the clinic/unit', 'lack of student employment in the clinic due to the high number of students'. When the statements of the clinical applications were evaluated, 'it was seen that the values of the students', 'the participation of the teachers/instructors in the application', 'the good communication of the team' and 'the rest and the dressing room' were in the first places. Conclusion: It is thought that the development of clinical practice environments may contribute to determining the problems and expectations of health discipline students in clinical practice areas during clinical skill education.
