Objective: This study aims to evaluate the satisfaction of pa tient with resorbed crests treated with complete dentures at the Department of Prosthodontics, Faculty of Dentistry, Atatürk University, and to identify key factors influencing prosthetic success, contributing to better clinical out comes and patient quality of life. Material and Methods: The study in cluded patients with resorbed crests who were using complete dentures and sought treatment at the Department of Prosthodontic at Atatürk University Faculty of Dentistry. A total of 100 participants (50% male, 50% female) were enrolled. The Geriatric Oral Health Assessment Index (GOHAI) and the Oral Health Impact Profile-14 (OHIP-14) scales were used to assess quality of life and patient satisfaction. Results: Statistical analyses revealed that patient satisfaction was not significantly influenced by gender, marital status, smoking habits, or the use of denture cleansers. The primary reason for seeking treatment at our clinic was problems related to existing dentures (67%). A majority of patients (79%) reported using denture cleansers, and a substantial proportion (78%) had prior experience with dentures. Notably, a history of denture use and the presence of systemic disease were statisti cally essential factors influencing prosthetic success (p<0.05). However, the variables such as age, educational background, and the reason for visiting the faculty did not remarkably impact the study outcomes. The mean GOHAI and OHIP-14 scores were recorded as 2.34 and 2.37, respectively. Conclusion: According to GOHAI and OHIP-14 evaluations, the quality of life and the satisfacter level of patients who used complete denture with resorbed crests was found to be at a acceptable level. The findings indicate that favorable prosthetic outcomes can be achieved by considering the patient's current systemic health condition and prior denture experience, irrespective of age, educational level, or previous clinical background. To escalation patient satisfac tion, meticulous attention should be given to all stages of denture process. Moreover, factors such as patient personality, psychological status, the aging process, and neuromuscular adaptation should be considered.
