Amaç: Bu araştırmanın amacı, yapılandırılmış bir fiziksel aktiviteye katılımın okul öncesi eğitime devam eden çocukların bazı fiziksel uygunluk parametrelerine ve dikkat toplama becerisine olan etkisini sınamaktır. Gereç ve Yöntemler: Araştırmaya, 60-72 aylık arasında bulunan 40 çocuk gönüllü olarak katılmıştır. Araştırmada kontrol gruplu ön-test-son-test deneysel araştırma modeli kullanılmıştır. Katılımcılar rastgele kontrol grubu (KG) ve egzersiz grubuna (EG) ayrılmıştır. KG, herhangi bir yapılandırılmış fiziksel aktivite programına katılmadan rutin eğitim programlarına devam etmişlerdir. EG ise rutin eğitim programlarına ek olarak günde 30-40 dk, haftada 3 gün ve toplamda 8 hafta süren yapılandırılmış bir fiziksel aktivite programına katılmışlardır. Tüm katılımcılara çalışma öncesi ve sonrasında fiziksel uygunluk parametreleri (çeviklik testi, disklere dokunma, flamingo denge testi, top sektirme ve 30 sn mekik testi) ile '5-6 yaş çocuklar için Frankfurter Konsantrasyon-Dikkat Toplama Testi [Frankfurter Test Für Funjahrige Konzentration (FTF-K)]' uygulanmıştır. Verilerin normallikleri Kolmogorov-Smirnov testi ile sınanmış ve 'paired-samples ttest' (normallik testi) uygulanmıştır. İstatistiksel analizlerde anlamlılık düzeyi p<0,05 olarak belirlenmiştir. Bulgular: KG ön-test-son-test FTF-K skoru değişkenine göre kız çocuklarda anlamlı fark bulunamazken (p>0,05), erkek çocuklarda istatistiksel anlamda farklılık bulunmuştur (p<0,05). EG ön-test-son-test FTF-K puanı ve fiziksel uygunluk parametreleri (çeviklik testi, disklere dokunma, flamingo denge testi, top sektirme ve 30 sn mekik testi) arasında anlamlı farklılığa rastlanmıştır (p<0,05). Sonuç: Belirlenen süre boyunca yapılandırılmış fiziksel aktivitelere katılımın, okul öncesi eğitime devam eden 60-72 aylık çocuklarda fiziksel uygunluklarını (flamingo denge testi, top sektirme, mekik testi) ve dikkat toplama becerilerini etkilediği tespit edilmiştir.

Objective: The aim of this study was to test the effect of participating in a structured physical activity on some physical fitness parameters and skills attention-concentration of attending children preschool education. Material and Methods: 40 children from 60-72 month-old participated in the study voluntarily. In the research, pretestposttest experimental research model with control group was used. Participants were randomly divided into control group (CG) and exercise group (EG). CG did not participate in any structured physical activity program and continue with routine training programs. In addition to routine training programs, EG participated in a structured physical activity program for 30-40 minutes a day, 3 days a week and 8 weeks in total. 'Frankfurter Concentration-Attention Test for 5-6 year old children [Frankfurter Test Für Funjahrige Konzentration (FTF-K)]' was applied to all participants before and after the study with their physical fitness parameters (agility test, touching discs, flamingo balance test, ball bounce and 30- second shuttle test). The normality of the data was tested with the Kolmogorov- Smirnov test and the paired-samples t-test (normality test) was applied. The statistically significance value was accepted as p<0.05 for data analysis. Results: While no significant difference was found in girls according to the KG pretest-posttest FTF-K score variable (p>0.05), a statistically significant difference was found in boys (p<0.05). A significant difference was found between the EG pretest-posttest FTF-K score and physical fitness parameters (agility test, touching discs, flamingo balance test, ball bounce and 30-second shuttle test) (p<0.05). Conclusion: It has been determined that participation in structured physical activities during the specified period affects the physical fitness (flamingo balance test, ball bounce, shuttle test) and attention-gathering skills of 60-72 months old children attending pre-school education.
