Objective: The effect of veneering of frameworks on the cement volume of bridge restorations is unknown. It was aimed to evaluate the effect of veneering on the cement volume in four-unit bridge restorations produced by different methods and to evaluate the cement volume according to different production methods by comparing them. Material and Methods: A master model was prepared in which teeth number 15 and 16 were missing and teeth number 14 and 17 were prepared. The virtual model was obtained by scanning the model and a computer-aided framework design was made, Co-Cr casting, laser sintering Co-Cr and milled zirconia frameworks were produced. Veneering process has been applied to the frameworks with the help of a silicon key. Before and after veneering, the cement gap volumes of the frameworks were evaluated by the three-dimensional optical scanning method using a reverse engineering software. The obtained data were evaluated statistically and the differences at the level of p<0.05 were considered statistically significant. Results: Significant differences were found in all groups after veneering (p<0.05). Before veneering, the cement volume values of the casting group were found to be significantly lower than the zirconia group (p<0.001). After veneering, the casting group exhibited a significantly lower cement volume value than the other two groups (p<0.05). Conclusion: Within the limitations of this study, veneering resulted in a significant increase in cement volume for all groups. Before and after veneering, the casting group exhibited a lower cement volume than the zirconia group. The casting group was less affected by the veneering process than the laser sintering group.
