Amaç: Belli aralıklarla belirli bir zaman biriminde düzenli olarak tekrarlanan değişimlere biyolojik ritim adı verilmektedir. Bunun yanında, bir güneş günü içinde meydana gelen döngüsel değişimler de sirkadiyen ritim olarak ifade edilmektedir. Sirkadiyen ritmin özellikle sporcuların performansları üzerinde önemli etkiler gösterdiği belirtilmektedir. Bu çalışma, genç futbolcularda sirkadiyen ritmin sıçrama, sprint ve çeviklik parametreleri üzerine etkisinin incelenmesi amacıyla yapılmıştır. Gereç ve Yöntemler: Bir amatör takımda futbol oynayan; yaş, antrenman yaşı, vücut ağırlığı ve boy uzunlukları sırasıyla 12,33±0,69 yıl, 2,33±1,07 yıl, 45,08±7,86 kg, 154,21±6,78 cm olan toplam 24 erkek sporcu çalışmaya gönüllü olarak katılmıştır. Katılımcılar, 3 farklı gün ve zaman diliminde (saat: 09:00, 14:00 ve 19:00) sırasıyla aktif sıçrama, 20 m sprint ve zig-zag çeviklik testlerine katılmışlardır. Elde edilen veriler SPSS 22.0 paket programında tekrarlı ölçümlerde varyans analizi kullanılarak analiz edilmiştir. Bulgular: Çalışma verilerinin analizi sonucunda, katılımcıların saat 09:00'da alınan sıçrama değerleri ile 14:00 ve 19:00'da alınan değerleri arasında istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bir farklılık bulunurken (p<0,05), saat 14.00 ve 19.00'da alınan test sonuçları karşılaştırıldığında aralarında istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bir farkın olmadığı belirlenmiştir (p>0,05). Katılımcıların günün farklı zaman dilimlerinde alınan 20 m sprint değerleri arasında istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bir farklılık bulunmamıştır (p>0,05). Çeviklik test sonuçlarına göre ise saat 19:00'da alınan çeviklik değerleri ile 09.00'da alınan çeviklik değerleri arasında anlamlı derecede bir farklılık bulunmuştur (p<0,05). Sonuç: Gün içindeki farklı zaman dilimlerinin katılımcıların sıçrama ve çeviklik performansları üzerine etkisi olduğu görülürken, 20 m sprint performansı üzerine ise anlamlı bir etkisinin olmadığı gözlemlenmiştir.

Objective: Changes that are regularly repeated at certain intervals within a certain unit of time are called biological rhythms. In addition, cyclic changes that occur within a solar day are also referred to as circadian rhythm. It is stated that circadian rhythm has significant effects especially on the performance of athletes. This study was conducted to investigate the effect of circadian rhythm on jumping, sprinting and agility parameters in young football players. Material and Methods: Twenty-four young male football players playing soccer in amateur team participated in this study voluntarily (age: 12.33±0.69 years, training year: 2.33±1.07 years, weight: 45.08±7.86 kg, height: 154.21±6.78 cm). Participants respectively participated in active jump, 20 m sprint and zig-zag agility tests on 3 different days and time periods (09:00, 14:00 and 19:00). The obtained data were analyzed using the analysis of variance in repeated measurements in the SPSS 22.0 package program. Results: As a result of the analysis of the study data, there was a statistically significant difference between the jump values taken at 09:00 and the values taken at 14:00 and 19:00 (p<0.05), when the test results taken at 14.00 and 19.00 were compared. It was determined that there was no statistically significant difference between them (p>0.05). There was no statistically significant difference between the 20 m sprint values of the participants at different times of the day (p>0.05). According to the agility test results, a significant difference was found between the agility values taken at 19:00 and 09.00 (p<0.05). Conclusion: It was observed that different time periods during the day had an effect on the jumping and agility performances of the participants, while it did not have a significant effect on the 20 m sprint.
