Amaç: Bu çalışmanın amacı, endodontide irrigasyon konusunun güncel kullanımı ile ilgili yayınlanmış en çok alıntı yapılan 50 makaleyi belirlemek ve eleştirel olarak değerlendirmek için bibliyometrik ve görselleştirilmiş bir analiz gerçekleştirmektir. Gereç ve Yöntemler: Web of Science veri tabanını kullanarak ayrıntılı literatür kaynaklarını belirlemek için elektronik tarama yapıldı. Literatür taraması sırasında kullanılan anahtar kelimeler; ''irrigasyon'', ''irrigasyon aktivasyon'' ve ''endodontik irrigasyon'' idi. İngilizce dilde yapılan arama sonuçlarında yer alan bütün makaleler atıf sayılarına göre en yüksekten en düşüğe doğru sıralandı ve son 15 yılın en çok atıf alan 50 makalesi seçildi. Sonuçlar özetlendi ve bir elektronik tabloda işlendi. Bulgular: Tarama sonucunda 115 makale elde edildi, buna göre taramada en çok atıf alan 50 makale çalışmaya dâhil edildi. Buna göre en çok makale 2020 yılında yayınlanırken, en az makale 2011 yılında yayınlandı. Duarte, 7 makale ve toplamda 118 atıf sayısı ile bu konudaki en üretken araştırmacı olarak belirlendi. En fazla makale üreten ülke Brezilya ve en fazla makale üreten kurum Sao Paulo Üniversitesi olarak belirlendi. Konu ile ilgili en fazla makale yayınlayan dergiler ise ''Journal of Endodontics'' ve ''International Endodontic Journal'' olarak belirlendi. Sonuç: Birçok yazar, enstitü ve uluslararası iş birliği ile bağlantılı yayınların sayısındaki artış endodontide irrigasyon konusunun güncelliğinin arttığını ve bu konuda ilerleme kaydedildiğini göstermiştir.

Objective: The aim of this study was to perform a bibliometric and visualized analysis to identify and critically appraise the 50 most cited articles on the current use of irrigation in endodontics. Material and Methods: An electronic search was conducted to identify detailed literature sources using Web of Science database. Keywords used during the literature review; ''irrigation'', ''irrigation activation'' and ''endodontic irrigation''. All articles in the English language search results were ranked according to their citation numbers, and the 50 most cited articles of the last 15 years were selected. The results were summarized and processed in a spreadsheet. Results: As a result of the screening, 115 articles were obtained, and the 50 most cited articles were included in the study. Duarte was identified as the most productive researcher on this subject, with 7 articles and 118 citations in total. The country that produced the most articles was Brazil and the institution that produced the most articles was the University of Sao Paulo. The journals that published the most articles on the subject were determined as ''Journal of Endodontics'' and ''International Endodontic Journal''. Conclusion: The increase in the number of publications related to many authors, institutes and international collaborations has shown that the topic of irrigation in endodontics has increased and progress has been made in this regard.
