Diş Hekimliğinde Uzmanlık Sınavında Sorulmuş Protetik Diş Tedavisi Sorularının Retrospektif Analizi
Retrospective Analysis of Prosthetic Dentistry Questions Asked in the Dentistry Specialization Training Entrance Exam

ÖZET
Amaç: Bu çalışmanın amacı Diş Hekimliği Uzmanlık Sınavında (DUS) sorulmuş olan protetik diş tedavisi sorularının konulara göre dağılımlarının retrospektif analizini yapmak; sınava hazırlanan adayların, bu konuda çalışan hekim ve akademisyenlerin değerlendirmesine sunmaktır. Gereç ve Yöntemler: Çalışmada, 2012-2023 yılları arasında yapılmış olan diş hekimliğinde uzmanlık sınavında yer alan protetik diş tedavisi ile ilgili sorular analiz edilmiştir. Sorulara Ölçme, Seçme ve Yerleştirme Merkezi (ÖSYM) resmi internet sitesinden ulaşılmıştır. Sorular sabit protezler, hareketli protezler, total protezler, implant üstü protezler, oklüzyon, diş morfolojisi, temporomandibular eklem, maddeler bilgisi, çene yüz protezleri, overdenture protezler üst başlıklarının altında Diş Hekimliği Ulusal Çekirdek Eğitim Programı (DUÇEP) kapsamında değerlendirilmiştir. Soruların yıllara göre dağılımları yapılmış, konu başlıklarının toplam soru sayısı içerisindeki yüzdelik oranları belirlenmiştir. ''Tahminler makine öğrenmesi'' ve ''ARIMA'' metotları kullanılarak gelecek yıllarda bu konu başlıklarından kaç soru çıkabileceği tahmininde bulunulmuştur. Bulgular: 2012-2023 yılları arasında DUS'ta çıkmış sorulann ana başlıklarına göre dağılımları incelendiğinde en fazla sabit protezler (%22,15) ana başlığında soruların çıktığı, bunu sırasıyla hareketli bölüm protezler (%18,35), oklüzyon (%16,46), maddeler bilgisi (%13,29) ve total protezler (%10,13) sorularının takip ettiği görülmüştür. En az sorunun ise iki soru ile çene yüz protezleri (%1,27) ve bir soru ile dişüstü protezler (%0,63) ana başlıklarından çıktığı görülmektedir. Toplam 158 sorunun 101 tanesinin DUÇEP-2024'e göre 3 ve 4 öğrenme düzeyinde olduğu saptanmıştır. Sonuç: DUS klinik bilimler testinde yer alan protetik diş tedavisi soruları DUÇEP 2024 kapsamında değerlendirildiğinde yıllara göre konu dağılımlarının düzenli olmadığı ve soruların daha çok (%63,9) klinikte uygulanması beklenen konulardan yöneltildiği görülmüştür. Yapılan retrospektif değerlendirmenin sınava hazırlanan adayların çalışmalarına katkı sağlayacağı düşünülmektedir.

Yapılan retrospektif değerlendirmenin sınava hazırlanan adayların çalışmalarına katkı sağlayacağı düşünülmektedir.

ABSTRACT
Objective: The purpose of this study is to conduct a retrospective analysis of the distribution of prosthetic dental treatment questions asked in the Dentistry Specialization Training Entrance Exam [Diş Hekimliği Uzmanlık Sınavı (DUS)] according to topics and to present them to the evaluation of candidates preparing for the exam, physicians, and academicians working on this subject. Material and Methods: In the study, questions related to prosthetic dental treatment in the dentistry specialization exam held between 2012-2023 were analyzed. The questions were accessed from the Student Selection and Placement Centre [Ölçme, Seçme ve Yerleştirme Merkezi (OSYM)] official website. The questions were evaluated under the headings of fixed prostheses, removable prostheses, total prostheses, implantsupported prostheses, occlusion, tooth morphology, temporomandibular joint, material information, maxillofacial prostheses, overdenture prostheses within the scope of the Dentistry National Core Education Program [Diş Hekimliği Ulusal Çekirdek Eğitim Programı (DUÇEP)]. The distribution of the questions according to years was made, and the percentage rates of the subject headings within the total number of questions were determined. Using the ''Machine Learning Estimates'' and ''ARIMA'' methods, it was estimated how many questions could be asked from these subject headings in the coming years. Results: When the distribution of questions in DUS between 2012-2023 was examined according to their main headings, it was seen that the most questions were in the main heading of fixed prostheses (22.15%), followed by questions in removable partial prostheses (18.35%), occlusion (16.46%), knowledge of materials (13.29%) and total prostheses (10.13%). The least number of questions was in the main headings of maxillofacial prostheses (1.27%) with two questions and overdenture prostheses (0.63) with one question. It was determined that 101 of the 158 questions were at the 3 and 4 learning levels according to DUÇEP-2024. Conclusion: When the prosthetic dental treatment questions in the DUS clinical sciences test were evaluated within the scope of DUÇEP 2024, it was seen that the distribution of topics by year was not regular and the questions were mostly asked from topics that students were expected to apply in the clinic (63.9%). It is thought that the retrospective evaluation will contribute to the studies of the candidates preparing for the exam.
