Material and Methods: This study was examining the data of 24 adults aged 19-49 years, who participated in twelve weeks ballet training. After the demographic information, the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index was used for their sleep quality, and the Hospital Anxiety and Depression Scale, which is used to screen depression and anxiety, was used for psychosocial status. The study utilized a pre-test-post-test single-group experimental design, the data were analyzed using Wilcoxon signed-rank test and t-test. The data of before and after ballet were compared. Results: After 12 weeks of ballet training, a significant difference was observed between general sleep quality, subjective sleep quality, and sleep disturbance values (p0.05). Conclusion: The results showed that 12 weeks ballet training could have positive effects on sleep quality and anxiety, while the decrease in depression scores wasn't significant. Ballet can serve as a therapeutic approach for the reason of potential benefits to the promotion of health in adults. Future studies should the therapeutic effect of ballet should be investigated by designing ballet training programs for specific diagnosis or age groups.
