In a developing world, technology is also advancing with aging societies. In line with the advancing technology, it is observed that organizations that unite aging individuals in active aging targets attach great importance to technology and active aging. According to this, to develop solutions tailored to the needs of older individuals, to prevent negative elderly discrimination in society, to create an educated service force for the care of elderly individuals, to provide new economies, products and to establish the market system, the environment, policies and programs need to plan in a way that affects elderly individuals physically, socially, spiritually, intellectually, environmentally, emotionally and professionally. Therefore, it is inevitable to benefit from technology in today's aging societies. In this article, we first planned to draw attention to the necessity of using technology in active aging, then the existing technologies and the responsibility of health personnel. According to the literature; we examined technological products and their usage areas for the elderly. Technological innovations developed for the elderly such as; smart wearable systems, auxiliary technological products, robots, smart home systems, disease management applications/web based applications, telehealth applications, lifelong learning applications, social communication networks. In achieving all these objectives, following of technology closely, preference of functional tools for the elderly, making care products that are part of the economic system suitable for the elderly, elderly individuals of press-release tools and should be used in a way that affects the community in a positive way. In the active aging process, health team members should take important responsibilities in the use of technology.
