Objective: This study was conducted as methodological in order to investigate psychometric characteristics and suitability to Turkish society of the Toileting Behaviour-Women's Elimination Behaviours (TB-WEB) Scale. Material and Methods: The study was conducted by including 160 nurses working in surgery and internal diseases, intensive care and emergency departments and operating rooms of a medical faculty hospital in Istanbul and a state hospital in Kırklareli. The data were collected using the descriptive characteristics form and TB-WEB scale. The data were assessed using SPSS package version 21.0 and LISREL 8.51 program. In the study, adapting the TB-WEB scale to Turkish language and Turkish culture, language and scope validity to test the validity and reliability, item analysis, exploratory and confirmatory factor analysis with internal consistency coefficients and test-retest reliability were measured. Ethics committee and institutional permission were obtained before the study. Results: The content validity index of the scale was found to be 0.91. Cronbach alpha coefficient was 0.81. For the scale, item total score correlation coefficients ranged between 0.183-0.672. The test-retest correlation value of the TB-WEB scale was 0.90 and there was also a high powered and positive correlation between the two measurements (p<0.001). In the applied confirmatory factor analysis, the fit indices were determined good and acceptable suitability. Conclusion: It was found that the form with 15 questions of the TB-WEB scale, by removing the items 1, 2 and 9, that could be used as a scale to assess the toileting behaviours of nurses.
