Objective: This study aimed to assess the practice of, and attitudes toward, pulp therapy in deciduous dentition among pediatric dentists in Turkey. Material and Methods: This cross-sectional survey study was conducted from October to December 2020. Data was collected using a closed-ended, multiple-choice questionnaire by faceto-face interview technique. A total of 239 pediatric dentists who accepted to fill out the questionnaire were included in the study. Descriptive statistics were done, followed by chi-square test to test the association between years of experience, academic status, and the questionnaire items. Results: Data revealed that pulpotomy is the most preferred method when treating a deep decay in the deciduous tooth with the possibility of pulp exposure and only 21.8% of pediatric dentists performed their treatment using a rubber dam in all cases. Of the respondents, 63.2% preferred calcium hydroxide as the material to be used on primary tooth pulp. 74.9% of the pediatric dentists prefer to remove infected dentine completely and 51.9% of the participants selected composite fillings to place after pulp therapy in the primary tooth. Most dentists stated requested immediate and 3-month follow-up with radiological. Conclusion: Although academic status and years of clinical experience among pediatric dentists affect the practice of and attitudes toward pulp therapies in a few questions, the common answers given to most of the questions show that despite the institutional differences, there is a general approach across the country.
