Objective: This study was planned to examine the conservative treatment methods applied to individuals with pes planus in postgraduate thesis studies conducted in our country and to determine the parameters by which the effectiveness of the treatment methods applied in these studies was evaluated. Material and Methods: Using the keywords ''pes planus, flatfoot, calcaneovalgus, pronation, hindfoot eversion/valgus, low arch, pes planovalgus, in-toeing, foot posture, medial longitudinal arch, navicular height, navicular drop, footprint, pedobarography'' in the database of the Council of Higher Education National Thesis Center. 147 postgraduate studies were accessed. 23 thesis studies that met the inclusion criteria were examined. Results: The most researched conservative treatment methods for pes planus were orthosis, exercise and taping. Apart from these methods, it was observed that manipulation and myofascial release applications were investigated in one thesis each. It was observed that pain, clinical tests for foot posture, pedobarography, quality of life/treatment effectiveness scales, lower extremity performance tests and balance evaluations were frequently used as outcome measures in evaluating the effectiveness of conservative treatment methods for pes planus. Conclusion: We concluded that the postgraduate thesis topics conducted in our country are parallel to the topics frequently researched in the literature, and that it is important to be able to read the study results together with the compilation and meta-analysis studies conducted in recent years. Using conservative treatment methods and outcome measurements with high evidence-based results in the literature; common discussion will also bring results and practices.
