ÖZET
 Amaç: Lisansüstü eğitimin temel çıktısı olan tezler, değerlendirilen konu veya veriler doğrultusunda ilgili bilim dalında bilimsel açıdan önemli katkılar sağlamaktadır. Bu çalışmanın amacı, ülkemizde diş hekimliği alanında yapay zekâ uygulamaları kullanılarak gerçekleştirilen lisansüstü tez çalışmalarını belirlenen parametreler doğrultusunda nitel olarak incelemektir. Gereç ve Yöntemler: Bu çalışmada Türkiye Yükseköğretim Kurulu Başkanlığı Ulusal Tez Veri Tabanı'ndan ''yapay zekâ'', ''derin öğrenme'', ''makine öğrenme'' ve ''diş hekimliği'' anahtar kelimeleri ile tez taraması yapıldı. Tarama sonucunda, erişime açık olan tezler çalışmaya dâhil edildi. Tezler, doküman ve içerik analizi yöntemleri kullanılarak; yıl, tür, dil, üniversite türü, bölge, ana bilim dalı, danışman ünvanı ve cinsiyeti, yazar cinsiyeti ve incelenen konular doğrultusunda değerlendirildi. Elde edilen verilerin değerlendirilmesinde tanımlayıcı istatistiksel yöntemler kullanıldı. Bulgular: Yayınlanan tezlerin tamamının Türkçe olduğu ve en fazla 2023 yılında gerçekleştiği görüldü. İncelenen tezlerin 32'si diş hekimliğinde uzmanlık ve 5'i doktora tezi niteliğindeydi. Tezlerin çoğunluğunun devlet üniversitelerinde yapıldığı ve en fazla İç Anadolu Bölgesi'ndeki üniversitelerde gerçekleştirildiği bulundu. Ayrıca, tezlerin en fazla ortodonti ana bilim dalında yürütüldüğü belirlendi. Sonuç: Diş hekimliği alanında yapay zekâ uygulamalarının kullanıldığı ilk lisansüstü tez çalışması 2018 yılında gerçekleştirilmiştir. Bu tarihten itibaren, konuyla ilişkin lisansüstü tezlerde belirgin bir artış yaşanmıştır. Yapay zekâ uygulamaları, günlük yaşamda olduğu gibi diş hekimliği pratiğinde de giderek önemli bir rol üstlenmektedir.

ABSTRACT
 Objective: Theses, as a primary outcome of postgraduate education, contribute significantly to their respective fields through examination of relevant topics or data. The aim of this study is to examine the postgraduate theses conducted using artificial intelligence applications in the field of dentistry in our country in line with the determined parameters. Material and Methods: This study, a search was conducted in National Thesis Database of Council of Higher Education of Türkiye using keywords 'artificial intelligence', 'deep learning', 'machine learning', and 'dentistry'. As a result of the screening, theses that were open to access were include in the study. Theses were evaluated using document and content analysis methods in terms of year, type, language, university type, region, department, advisor title and gender, author gender and examined topics. Descriptive statistical methods were employed to evaluate data obtained. Results: Analysis revealed that all published theses were in Turkish and were completed by 2023 at the latest. Among the examined theses, 32 were classified as specialization theses in dentistry, while 5 were doctoral dissertations. It was found that the majority of these theses were conducted at state universities, with a notable concentration in institutions located in Central Anatolia Region. Furthermore, the majority of theses were carried out within department of orthodontics. Conclusion: The first graduate theses incorporating artificial intelligence applications in the field of dentistry was completed in 2018. Since that time, there has been a notable increase in number of graduate theses addressing this topic. Artificial intelligence is progressively assuming a significant role in dental practice, paralleling its growing impact in various aspects of everyday life.

- Providing structural, statistical and editorial support to article preparation stage for scientific journals.

4. GENERAL PROVISIONS

4.1. "Turkiye Klinikleri" is completely free to determine which of the services and contents provided in the "SITE" will be charged.

4.2. People benefiting from the services provided by "Turkiye Klinikleri" and using the website can use the "SITE" only according to the law and only for personal reasons. Users have the criminal and civil liability for every process and action they take in the "SITE". Every USER agrees, declares and undertakes that they will not proceed by any function or action infringement of rights of "Turkiye Klinikleri"s and/or other third parties', they are the exclusive right holder on usage, processing, storage, made public and revealing any written, visual or auditory information reported to Turkiye Klinikleri" and/or "SITE" to the third parties. "Force majeure" term will be regarded as outside of the concerned party's reasonable control and any situation that "Turkiye Klinikleri" cannot prevent even though it shows due diligence. Also, force majeure situations include but not limited to natural disasters, rebellion, war, strike, communication problems, infrastructure and internet failure, power cut and bad weather conditions.

8. LAW AND AUTHORISATION TO FOLLOW

Turkish Law will be applied in practicing, interpreting the hereby "Terms of Use" and managing the emerging legal relationships within this "Terms of Use" in case of finding element of foreignness, except for the rules of Turkish conflict of laws. Ankara Courts and Enforcement Offices are entitled in any controversy happened or may happen due to hereby contract.

9. CLOSING AND AGREEMENT

Hereby "Terms of Use" come into force when announced in the "SITE" by "Turkiye Klinikleri". The users are regarded to agree to hereby contract terms by using the "SITE". "Turkiye Klinikleri" may change the contract terms and the changes will be come into force by specifying the version number and the date of change on time it is published in the "SITE".
