Objective: Traumatic dental injuries are one of the important public health problems because of the impact on children's daily life and its relatively high prevalence. Dentoalveolar traumas often develop depending on various traumas such as fights, fallings, traffic accidents, sports injuries and game accidents in different places such as home, school or street. It is important to know the history and the type of trauma, circumstances of the injury for successful management of patients. In this study, our aim was to understand which kind of traumatic injuries cause any of which dental injuries and determine necessary precautions. Material and Methods: 534 patients between 0-15 years old (mean: 8.41) with 727 traumatic dental injuries recorded. Gender, age, the reason of trauma, traumatised teeth and dentition, the place trauma occurred and the type of trauma were recorded. Trauma types were grouped according to Andreasen & Andreasen classification. Results: 223 girls and 311 boys between 1-15 years old (mean: 8.4) 727 traumatic dental injuries recorded. 24.1% were recorded in primary dentition and 75.9% were seen in permanent dentition. The mostly seen reason was fall (40.3%). Traumatic dental injuries were mostly occurred in school (56.2%). Conclusion: It is possible to prevent the incidence of traumatic dental treatments and reduce the complications by taking appropriate precautions.
