Objective: The purpose of this research is to determine the relationship between sleep quality and physical activity status of health personnel with their body mass index (BMI). Material and Methods: This research is based on the relational scanning model. The study group consists of all the employees that are working for Özel Çorum and Özel Elitpark hospitals in Çorum province. A total of 535 employees, 325 (60%) from Özel Elitpark Hospital and 210 (40%) from Özel Çorum Hospital, participated in the study. In this study, the sociodemographic questions, International Physical Activity Questionnaire and the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index were used to question the participants' description and nutrition information. Results: According to the findings of the study, other health employees are the ones with the highest obesity rate-compared to the occupations of the health employees- nurses are the ones with the highest sleep disorder, and the assistant health employees are the ones with the highest physical activity level. There is a significant correlation between sleep quality and BMI values (x2=8.311, p=040<0.05), and sleep quality was the worst within the obese individuals (83.1%). There is also a significant correlation between physical activity and BMI (x2=10.85, p= 005<0.05), and physical activity was the lowest within the obese individuals (59.7%). Conclusion: In this research, we found that sleep quality of the health employees was poor and physical activity levels were low, and BMI values were higher in those who had low sleep quality and physical activity levels.
