Bu kitabın amacı, akademik olarak bilimsel bir faaliyet üretmenin ötesindedir, doğrudan hedef kitlesi olarak düşünülen Anesteziyoloji ve Reanimasyon eğitim kliniklerine gelen tıpta uzmanlık öğrencileri için tek bir başvuru kaynağı olması maksadıyla tasarlanmıştır. Bir kez yazılıp tarihe emanet edilmek üzere değil, eğer mümkün olursa kendini sürekli yenileyen ve geliştiren bir proje olarak hayal edilmiştir.
Söz konusu hayal sadece akademik elektronik bir yayın olarak değil, yayınevinin şemsiyesi altında bir e-book ve onun çevresinde yeşerebilecek diğer sosyal medya yapılanmaları olarak da düşünülmüş ve böylelikle yeni gelen dijital neslin de radarına girmesi amaçlanmıştır. Instagram, Youtube ve diğer aplikasyon sunucularda yansımalarının olması, bu amaca hizmet edebilir.
Bu doğrultuda yazar ekibimiz titizlikle seçildi. Yazar ailemizin içinde; hem tıp hem de hukuk fakültesi bitirmiş üst düzey yöneticilikler yapmış, duayen hocalarımızdan, bize enerjisiyle tempo tutan genç uzman hekimlere, hâlen TUKMOS komisyon üyeliği yapan akademisyenlerden, konusunda branşlaşmış yan dal uzmanlarına kadar ülkemizin önemli üniversitelerinden, eğitim hastanelerinden ve kurumlarından pek çok değerli isim bulunmaktadır.
Yazar ailemiz kitabı yazmaya başladığında eğitim müfredatını belirleyen TUKMOS komisyonu yeni askıda müfredatlar hazırlamış ve yenilenme sürecini başlatmıştı. Bu noktada ya yeni müfredatı bekleyecek ya da önceki müfredatla yola devam edecektik. Zaman kaybetmek yerine ilerlemeyi tercih ettik. Bunun nedeni müfredat değişse bile birçok branş için zaten konu başlıklarının ortak olacak olmasıydı. Gelecek baskılarda konu yerleşimlerinin tekrar düzenlenebilecek olması da düşünüldüğünde, bu kararımızın kitabın nihai faydasını önemli ölçüde etkilemeyeceği kanaatindeyiz.
Kitabımız iki bölümden oluşmaktadır. Birinci bölümde ortak konular yer almış, ikinci bölümde ise branşlara özgü müfredat içeriği anlatılmıştır. Böylelikle kitabın sunduğu içerik, müfredatlar değişse bile bir rotasyoner uzmanlık öğrencisinin ihtiyacı olan neredeyse tüm konuları kapsar hâle gelmiştir.
Önsözün sonunda benim için bu projeye altın dokunuşlar yapan iki değerli insanın isimlerini anma gereği duyuyorum. Doç. Dr. Yeşim Andıran Şenaylı, kendisi pediatrik anestezide ciddi boyutlarda pratik ve teorik deneyime sahiptir ve yakın bir akademik arkadaşım olarak kitaba başlama konusunda beni ikna eden kişidir. Yine kendisine konuyu açıp tavsiyelerini istediğimde izlenmesi gereken yolu gösteren, uzaklardaki ufuk çizgisini etkili dokunuşlarıyla yakına çeken, endişelerimi gideren her zaman örnek almaya çalıştığım değerli hocam Prof. Dr. Karamehmet Yıldız'a teşekkürlerimi sunarım.
Elbette iyi bir ekip ve motive eden akademisyenlerin ötesinde, fikirleri gerçek ve paylaşılabilir değerlere dönüştüren ''Türkiye Klinikleri'' gibi köklü ve tıp alanında uzmanlaşmış, uluslararası ölçekte bir basım kuruluşunun da makalelerimizi sahiplenmiş olması, okuduğunuz bu kitabın var olmasını sağlamıştır. The purpose of this book is beyond producing an academic scientific activity, it is designed to be a single reference source for medical specialization students coming to Anesthesiology and Reanimation training clinics, which are considered as the direct target audience. It is not imagined to be written once and consigned to history, but rather as a project that constantly renews and improves itself if possible.
The dream in question is not only considered as an academic electronic publication, but also as an e-book under the umbrella of the publishing house and other social media structures that can grow around it, and thus it is aimed to enter the radar of the new digital generation. Its reflections on Instagram, Youtube and other application servers can serve this purpose.
In this direction, our team of writers has been meticulously selected. Our writer family includes many valuable names from important universities, training hospitals and institutions of our country, from our doyen professors who have graduated from both medical and law faculties and have served as senior managers, to young specialist physicians who keep pace with us with their energy, from academics who are currently members of the TUKMOS commission to sub-branch specialists who have specialized in their fields.
When our author family started writing the book, the TUKMOS commission, which determines the curriculum, had prepared new pending curricula and started the renewal process. At this point, we would either wait for the new curriculum or continue with the previous curriculum. Instead of wasting time, we preferred to move forward. The reason for this was that even if the curriculum changed, the subject headings would be common for many branches anyway. Considering that the subject placements may be rearranged in future editions, we believe that this decision will not significantly affect the final benefit of the book.
Our book consists of two parts. The first part includes common topics, and the second part explains the curriculum content specific to the branches. Thus, the content offered by the book has come to cover almost all the topics a rotational specialist needs, even if the curricula change.
At the end of the preface, I feel the need to mention the names of two valuable people who made golden touches to this project for me. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Yeşim Andıran Şenaylı, who has serious practical and theoretical experience in pediatric anesthesia, is the person who convinced me to start the book as a close academic friend. Again, I would like to thank my valuable teacher Prof. Dr. Karamehmet Yıldız, who showed me the path to follow when I asked for his advice, who brought the distant horizon closer with his effective touches, who relieved my concerns and whom I always tried to take as an role-model.
Of course, beyond a good team and motivating academics, the fact that a wellestablished, internationally specialized printing organization such as ''Türkiye Klinikleri'', which transforms ideas into real and shareable values, has adopted our articles has made this book you are reading possible.
