Eğitim, sürekli değişen ve gelişen bir süreçtir. Günümüzde, eğitim dünyasında ortaya çıkan yenilikçi yaklaşımlar, meslekler arası eğitimin önemini ve gerekliliğini gözler önüne sermektedir. Türkiye'de sağlık profesyonellerinin eğitiminde birlikte olamamaları, eğitim kalitelerinin farklılıkları ve nitelik olarak düşmeleri, ciddi bir endişe kaynağıdır. Bu durum, ciddi bir sağlık çalışanı eksikliğine yanıt olarak hızlı ve etkili kalite güvencesi olmadan çok sayıda sağlık çalışanının yetiştirilmesinden kaynaklanmaktadır. Sağlık mesleklerindeki kaliteyi artırmanın bir yolu, dünya genelindeki akademik kurumlarda meslekler arası eğitime artan ilgidir. Son yirmi yılda bu konuda birçok yayın yapılmış olup, bunlar çoğunlukla Birleşik Krallık, diğer Avrupa ülkeleri, Amerika Birleşik Devletleri, Kanada ve Avustralya'dan gelmektedir. Ancak Türkiye gibi gelişmekte olan ülkeler, meslekler arası eğitimin önemini kabul etmesine rağmen, bu konuda nispeten az sayıda yayın yapmıştır. Meslekler arası eğitimin, sağlık hizmetlerinin kalitesini ve sağlık sonuçlarını iyileştirdiğini gösteren kanıt temelli çalışmalara ihtiyaç duyulmaktadır.

''Günümüzde Meslekler Arası Eğitim Konsepti'' başlıklı bu kitap, Dr. Öğr. Üyesi Aysel Başer'in tıp eğitimi doktora programında üzerinde çalıştığı ve Prof. Dr. Hatice Şahin'in danışmanlığında tamamlanan doktora tezinin konusunu oluşturan uzun soluklu bir çalışmanın ürünüdür.

Kitabımız; meslekler arası eğitim kavramını, alanında uzmanların bir araya gelerek oluşturduğu zengin içerik ile derinlemesine ele alarak, bu alanda çalışan akademisyenlere, eğitimcilere ve uygulayıcılara bilgi ve deneyim aktararak rehberlik etmeyi amaçlamaktadır. Bu kitabımızdaki bölümler; meslekler arası eğitim yaklaşımını ilgilendiren bileşenleri derinlemesine ele alacak ve okuyucuya ilgili konuda tanımlar ve tanım karmaşaları, konunun sosyal etkisi, meslekler arası eğitim planlama ve uygulamaları, bu eğitim yaklaşımının değerlendirilmesi ve konuyla ilgili bilgi üretimi hakkında kavramsal bir çerçeve kazandıracaktır.

Meslekler arası eğitim ile ilgili bilgi üretimi Bölüm 12 ve 13'te ''Meslekler Arası Eğitim'de Dijital Dönüşüm: Teknoloji ve İnovasyonun Rolü'' ve ''Meslekler Arası Eğitim Etkinliğinin Değerlendirilmesinde Bilimsel Araştırmalar ve Kanıt'' başlıkları altında ele alınmıştır.

Education is a constantly evolving and developing process. Today, innovative approaches emerging in the world of education highlight the importance and necessity of interprofessional education. Today, innovative approaches emerging in the world of education highlight the importance and necessity of interprofessional education. In Türkiye, the inability of health professionals to be educated together, the differences in the quality of their education and the decline in their qualifications are major concerns. This situation results from the rapid and effective training of a large number of health professionals without quality assurance, in response to a severe shortage of health workers. One way to improve the quality of the health professions is the growing interest in interprofessional education in academic institutions worldwide. Over the past two decades, many publications have appeared on this topic, mainly from the United Kingdom, other European countries, the United States, Canada and Australia. However, although developing countries such as Turkey recognise the importance of interprofessional education, there are relatively few publications on the subject. There is a need for evidence-based studies that show that interprofessional education improves the quality of health services and health outcomes.

This book, entitled ''The Concept of Interprofessional Education Today'', is the result of a long-term study conducted by Assistant Professor Dr. Aysel Başer as part of her doctoral programme in medical education and completed under the supervision of Professor Dr. Hatice Şahin.

Our book aims to provide guidance to academics, educators and practitioners working in the field by exploring the concept of interprofessional education in depth with rich content written by experts. The chapters in this book explore in depth the components associated with the interprofessional education approach and provide the reader with a conceptual framework of definitions and definitional ambiguities, the social implications of the subject, the planning and implementation of interprofessional education, the evaluation of this educational approach and the production of knowledge related to the subject.

Definitions and confusion in relation to interprofessional education are addressed in Chapter 1 under the title ''Interprofessional Education: Historical Origins, Core Competencies and Theoretical Approaches''.

The social impact of implementing interprofessional education is discussed in Chapter 2 ''Interprofessional Education and its Social Benefit'', Chapter 4 ''Interprofessional Education and Ethical Dimensions'', Chapter 7 ''Interprofessional Identity: A Conceptual Framework'' and Chapter 10 ''Examples of Implementation and Sustainable Approaches in Interprofessional Education''.

Planning and implementation of interprofessional education are covered in Chapter 3 ''The Process of Design and Development in Interprofessional Education'', Chapter 5 ''Leadership in Interprofessional Education'', Chapter 6 ''Communication and Motivation in Interprofessional Education'', Chapter 8 ''The Value of Collaboration: Scenario-Based Approaches for Health Professionals'' and Chapter 11 ''Developing Faculty Development Programmes in Interprofessional Education''. Assessment of the impact of interprofessional education is discussed in Chapter 9 ''Assessment in interprofessional education''.

The production of knowledge related to interprofessional education is addressed in chapters 12 and 13 entitled ''Digital Transformation in Interprofessional Education: The Role of Technology and Innovation'' and ''Scientific Research and Evidence in Evaluating the Effectiveness of Interprofessional Education''.

Each chapter has been carefully written by experts in their respective fields and provides valuable insights into how to take interprofessional education from theory to practice.

We believe that our book will be useful to all readers who wish to implement interprofessional education more effectively and efficiently.

We would like to thank all the contributors to this book and hope that it will serve as an important resource for the future of interprofessional education.

1. TERMS OF USE

1.1. - Providing scientific articles, books and informative publications for health industry.

- Providing structural, statistical and editorial support to article preparation stage for scientific journals.

4. GENERAL PROVISIONS

4.1. "Turkiye Klinikleri" is completely free to determine which of the services and contents provided in the "SITE" will be charged.

4.2. People benefiting from the services provided by "Turkiye Klinikleri" and using the website can use the "SITE" only according to the law and only for personal reasons. Users have the criminal and civil liability for every process and action they take in the "SITE". Every USER agrees, declares and undertakes that they will not proceed by any function or action infringement of rights of "Turkiye Klinikleri"s and/or other third parties', they are the exclusive right holder on usage, processing, storage, made public and revealing any written, visual or auditory information reported to Turkiye Klinikleri" and/or "SITE" to the third parties. "Turkiye Klinikleri" has no direct and/or indirect responsibility for any damage a third party suffered or will suffer regarding "USER"s actions on the "SITE" against the rules of the hereby "Terms of Use" and the law.

4.5. "USER"s accept and undertake that the information and context they provided to the "SITE" are accurate and legal. "Turkiye Klinikleri" is not liable and responsible for promising and guaranteeing the verification of the information and context transmitted to "Turkiye Klinikleri" by the "USER"s, or uploaded, changed and provided through the "SITE" by them and whether these information are safe, accurate and legal.

4.6. "USER"s agree and undertake that they will not perform any action leading to unfair competition, weakening the personal and commercial credit of "Turkiye Klinikleri" and a third party,  encroaching and attacking on personal rights within the "SITE" in accordance with the Turkish Commercial Code Law.

Any changes and/or corrections that are required by "Turkiye Klinikleri", may be made by "Turkiye Klinikleri" when needed. Any harm, criminal and civil liability resulted or will result from changes and/or corrections required by "Turkiye Klinikleri" and were not made on time by the "USER"s belongs completely to the users.

4.8. "Turkiye Klinikleri" may give links through the "SITE" to other websites and/or "CONTEXT"s and/or folders that are outside of their control and owned and run by third parties. These links are provided for ease of reference only and do not hold qualification for support the respective web SITE or the admin or declaration or guarantee for the information inside. "Turkiye Klinikleri" does not hold any responsibility over the web-sites connected through the links on the "SITE", folders and context, the services or products on the websites provided through these links or their context.

4.9. "Turkiye Klinikleri" may use the information provided to them by the "USERS" through the "SITE" in line with the terms of the "PRIVACY POLICY" and "USER CONTRACT". 7. FORCE MAJEURE

"Turkiye Klinikleri" is not responsible for executing late or never of this hereby "Terms of Use", privacy policy and "USER Contract" in any situation legally taken into account as force majeure. Being late or failure of performance or non-defaulting of this and similar cases like this will not be the case from the viewpoint of "Turkiye Klinikleri", and "Turkiye Klinikleri" will not have any damage liability for these situations. "Force majeure" term will be regarded as outside of the concerned party's reasonable control and any situation that "Turkiye Klinikleri" cannot prevent even though it shows due diligence. Also, force majeure situations include but not limited to natural disasters, rebellion, war, strike, communication problems, infrastructure and internet failure, power cut and bad weather conditions.

8. LAW AND AUTHORISATION TO FOLLOW

Turkish Law will be applied in practicing, interpreting the hereby "Terms of Use" and managing the emerging legal relationships within this "Terms of Use" in case of finding element of foreignness, except for the rules of Turkish conflict of laws. Ankara Courts and Enforcement Offices are entitled in any controversy happened or may happen due to hereby contract.

9. CLOSING AND AGREEMENT

Hereby "Terms of Use" come into force when announced in the "SITE" by "Turkiye Klinikleri". The users are regarded to agree to hereby contract terms by using the "SITE". "Turkiye Klinikleri" may change the contract terms and the changes will be come into force by specifying the version number and the date of change on time it is published in the "SITE".
