ÖZET
 Mishel'in hastalık teorisindeki belirsizlik kavramı, hasta ve ailesinin hastalık hakkındaki belirsizliği algılaması ve yönetmesinde etkili baş etme sürecinin sağlanması olarak tanımlanmaktadır. Hastalık teorisine göre yaşanan bu belirsizlik uygun yönetilmezse, komplikasyonların artması, hastanede yatış süresinin uzaması ve maliyetin artması gibi istenmeyen sonuçlara yol açabilir. Hemşirelerin hasta ve yakınlarında belirsizliğe neden olan bilgi eksikliğini azaltacak girişimleri uygulaması hem bakım kalitesini hem de hasta memnuniyetini artıracaktır. Bu çalışmada, ani işitme kaybı tanılı hastanın Mishel'in Hastalıkta Belirsizlik Kuramı'na göre belirsizlikle etkin baş edebilmesi için gereksinimlerinin belirlenmesi ve bu doğrultuda hemşirelik bakımının verilmesi amaçlanmıştır. Ani işitme kaybına bağlı belirsizlik yaşayan hastanın sürece uyumunda, hemşirenin hastanın bilgi gereksinimine uygun eğitim vermesinin, sürece aileyi dâhil etmesinin ve aynı tanıyı alan hastalar arasında iletişim sağlamasının hastalarda belirsizliğin azalmasına yardımcı olduğu bulunmuştur.

ABSTRACT
 The concept of uncertainty in Mishel's theory of illness is defined as providing an effective coping process for the patient and his family to perceive and manage uncertainty about the disease. According to the disease theory, if this uncertainty is not managed properly, it may lead to undesirable consequences such as increased complications, longer hospital stays and increased costs. Nurses' implementation of initiatives that will reduce the lack of information that causes uncertainty in patients and their relatives will increase both the quality of care and patient satisfaction. In this study, it was aimed to determine the needs of the patient diagnosed with sudden hearing loss in order to effectively cope with uncertainty according to Mishel's Uncertainty Theory in Disease and to provide nursing care accordingly. It has been found that the nurse's provision of education appropriate to the patient's information needs, involvement of the family in the process, and communication between patients with the same diagnosis help reduce uncertainty in the adaptation of the patient experiencing uncertainty due to sudden hearing loss to the process.

4.1. "Turkiye Klinikleri" is completely free to determine which of the services and contents provided in the "SITE" will be charged.

4.2. People benefiting from the services provided by "Turkiye Klinikleri" and using the website can use the "SITE" only according to the law and only for personal reasons. Users have the criminal and civil liability for every process and action they take in the "SITE". 8. LAW AND AUTHORISATION TO FOLLOW

Turkish Law will be applied in practicing, interpreting the hereby "Terms of Use" and managing the emerging legal relationships within this "Terms of Use" in case of finding element of foreignness, except for the rules of Turkish conflict of laws. Ankara Courts and Enforcement Offices are entitled in any controversy happened or may happen due to hereby contract.

9. CLOSING AND AGREEMENT

Hereby "Terms of Use" come into force when announced in the "SITE" by "Turkiye Klinikleri". The users are regarded to agree to hereby contract terms by using the "SITE".
