Soliter endobronşiyal papillomlar, bronş yüzey epitelinden köken alan, oldukça nadir görülen benign tümörlerdir. Etiyolojisi kesin olarak bilinmemekle birlikte bazı olgularda insan papilloma virüsün [human papilloma virus (HPV)] neden olduğu düşünülmektedir. Kesin tanı biyopsi örneklerinin histopatolojik değerlendirmesi ile konulmaktadır. Soliter endobronşiyal papillomlar; skuamöz hücreli, glandüler ve mikst papillom olmak üzere 3 alt tipe ayrılmaktadır. Skuamöz hücreli papillomlar malign transformasyon gösterebilirken, glandüler papillomlar malign transformasyon göstermezler. Soliter endobronşiyal papillomlar tekrarlayan öksürük ve hemoptizi yakınmasına neden olabilir. Biz de son 1 yıl içerisinde 3 kez hemoptizi yakınması olan, üst solunum sistemi endoskopik muayenesinde sol vokal kord üzerinde nodüler lezyon tespit edilen, akciğer radyolojik incelemeleri normal olan ve endobronşiyal ve laringeal lezyondan alınan biyopsiler ile HPV 16 ve 67+ skuamöz hücreli papillom tanısı konulan olgumuzu, araştırabildiğimiz kadarıyla HPV67+ skuamöz hücreli papillom tanılı literatürdeki ilk olgu olması nedeniyle sunmayı amaçladık.

Solitary endobronchial papillomas are extremely rare benign tumors originating from the bronchial surface epithelium. Although its etiology is not known exactly, it is thought that the human papilloma virus (HPV) is the etiologic cause in some cases. A definitive diagnosis is made with the histopathological evaluation of biopsy specimens. Solitary endobronchial papillomas are divided into 3 subtypes: squamous cell, glandular and mixed papilloma. Squamous cell papillomas may show malignant transformation, whereas glandular papillomas do not show malignant transformation. Solitary endobronchial papillomas can cause recurrent cough and hemoptysis. We aim to present a case of a patient, presented with 3 episodes of hemoptysis in the last year and diagnosed with left vocal cord nodule by upper respiratory system endoscopic examination, with normal lung radiological examinations and with HPV 16 and 67+ squamous cell papilloma diagnosed from endobronchial and laryngeal biopsies, as it is the first case in the literature with a diagnosis of HPV67+ squamous cell papilloma as far as we could research.
