ÖZET
Amaç: Bu araştırma Sağlık Bilimleri Fakültesi 4. sınıfta öğrenim gören kız öğrencilerin Kendi Kendine Meme Muayenesi (KKMM) konusunda bilgi ve uygulama düzeylerini belirlemek, gerekli eğitimi vermek, bilgi ve uygulama düzeylerini arttırmak amacıyla tasarlanmıştır. Gereç ve Yöntemler: Araştırma 15 Şubat 2019- 15 Mayıs 2019 tarihleri arasında, ön test-son test kontrol gruplu yarı deneysel bir modele göre Sağlık Bilimleri Fakültesi Hemşirelik Bölümü 4. sınıfta öğrenim gören 143 kız öğrenci ile gerçekleştirilmiştir. Öğrencilere araştırmanın amacı açıklanıp onamları alındıktan sonra konu ile ilgili bilgi ve uygulama düzeyleri ölçülmüştür. Araştırmacı tarafından PowerPoint sunumu ve meme protezi kullanılarak uygulamalı olarak verilen eğitimin ardından öğrencilerin bilgi düzeyleri tekrar ölçülmüş ve öğrencilere araştırmacı tarafından hazırlanan KKMM broşürü verilmiştir. Çalışmaya alınan öğrenci hemşirelerin bir ay sonra KKMM uygulama durumları ve bilgi düzeyleri tekrar ölçülmüştür. Bulgular: Hemşirelik öğrencilerinin KKMM bilgi düzeyleri, eğitim öncesi düzeyleri ile eğitimden hemen sonra ve bir ay sonra tespit edilen düzeyleri arasında istatistiksel olarak anlamlı fark bulunmuştur (sırasıyla χ2= 187,009; p<0,01, p<0,01). Ayrıca KKMM konusunda uygulama düzeyleri ve her ay düzenli uygulama düzeylerinde, eğitim öncesi ile eğitimden bir ay sonraki durum arasında istatistiksel olarak anlamlı fark bulunmuştur. Sonuç: Kendi kendine meme muayenesi eğitimi Sağlık Bilimleri Fakültesi Hemşirelik Bölümü 4. sınıf öğrenci hemşirelerin bilgi ve uygulama düzeyleri üzerinde etkili bulunmuştur.

ABSTRACT
Objective: This research was designed to determine the knowledge and practice levels of 4th-grade Faculty of Health Sciences Department of Nursing students on the Breast Self Examination (BSE), to provide the necessary education, and to increase their knowledge and practice levels. Material and Methods: The research was carried out between February 15, 2019, and May 15, 2019, according to a quasiexperimental model with the pretest-posttest control group, with 143 female students studying in the 4th grade of the Faculty of Health Sciences Department of Nursing. After the purpose of the research was explained to the students and their consent was obtained, their knowledge and application levels were measured. After the practical training given by the researcher using a PowerPoint presentation and breast prosthesis, the knowledge levels of the students were re-measured and a BSE brochure prepared by the researcher was given to the students. One month later, the BSE practice status and knowledge levels of the student nurses included in the study were re-measured. Results: A statistically significant difference was found between the BSE knowledge levels of nursing students, their levels before education, and those detected immediately after and one month after education (χ2= 187.009; p<0.01, p<0.01, respectively). In addition, a statistically significant difference was found between the levels of practice in BSE and the level of regular practice every month, between the situation before the training and one month after the training. Conclusion: Breast self-examination training was found to be effective on the knowledge and practice levels of the 4th-year student nurses of the Faculty of Health Sciences Department of Nursing.

4.1. "Turkiye Klinikleri" is completely free to determine which of the services and contents provided in the "SITE" will be charged.

4.2. People benefiting from the services provided by "Turkiye Klinikleri" and using the website can use the "SITE" only according to the law and only for personal reasons. Users have the criminal and civil liability for every process and action they take in the "SITE". 8. LAW AND AUTHORISATION TO FOLLOW

Turkish Law will be applied in practicing, interpreting the hereby "Terms of Use" and managing the emerging legal relationships within this "Terms of Use" in case of finding element of foreignness, except for the rules of Turkish conflict of laws. Ankara Courts and Enforcement Offices are entitled in any controversy happened or may happen due to hereby contract.

9. CLOSING AND AGREEMENT

Hereby "Terms of Use" come into force when announced in the "SITE" by "Turkiye Klinikleri". The users are regarded to agree to hereby contract terms by using the "SITE". "Turkiye Klinikleri" may change the contract terms and the changes will be come into force by specifying the version number and the date of change on time it is published in the "SITE".
