Objective: Evaluating the anterior segment parameters of the patients after cataract surgery. Material and Methods: This prospective study included 82 patients who had no any systemic diseases and planned cataract surgery at the Department of Ophthalmology, Kütahya Medical Sciences University School of Medicine. Patients were divided into two groups [Group 1: axial length (AL) ≤23.25 mm n=42, Group 2: AL >23.25 mm, n=40] according to AL. All patients underwent phacoemulsification with a 2.2-mm clear corneal incision. Corneal thickness (CCT), corneal volume (CV), anterior chamber volume (ACV), anterior chamber depth (ACD), iridocorneal angle (ICA), white-to-white (WTW) distance, corneal asphericity (Q) and pupil diameter (PD) values of the patients were evaluated with Pentacam device before and one week and one month after the surgery. Results: Average age of the patients is 64.4±9.95 years and 46 (56.1%) of them were male, 36 (43.9%) of them were female. CCT was significantly higher one week after the surgery compared to preoperative values in all population. CV, ACV, ACD, and ICA were significantly higher one week and one month after the surgery, compared to preoperative values. PD has significantly decreased one week after the surgery but did not significantly different at one month postoperatively. There were no significantly differences in WTW and Q values postoperatively. ACV and ICA were more significantly increased in patients had shorter AL (group 1) when the analyzed absolute difference of the parameters. Conclusion: CV, ACV, ACD and ICA were significantly increased after cataract surgery. The alteration in ACV and ICA were more prominent especially in eyes had shorter AL. Although a significant change was observed in the first week of CCT and PC, no significant difference was found at the end of the first month. There were no significantly changes in WTW and Q values
