ÖZET
 Hortikültürel terapi, bitkilere ve bitkilerle ilgili faaliyetlere aktif veya pasif katılım yoluyla kişinin sosyal, duygusal, fiziksel, ruhsal, çevresel ve entelektüel iyilik hâlini artıran aktiviteleri kapsayan, eğitimli bir terapist tarafından uygulanan bir terapi türüdür. Bu terapi, ruhsal sağlık sorunu olan kişiler için de terapötik özellik taşımaktadır. Hortikültürel terapi gibi terapötik faaliyetlerin, yaşamdan memnuniyetin artması ve yaşam kalitesinin yükselmesinin yanı sıra depresyon ve anksiyete de azalma dâhil olmak üzere sağlık sonuçları üzerinde istatistiksel olarak anlamlı olumlu bir etkiye sahip olduğu bilinmektedir. Dünya da farklı bir çok ülkede sağlık kurumlarında hortikültürel terapi bahçesi örneği bulunmaktadır. Ülkelerde mevcut olan bu uygulamalar bu konuya verilen önemi ortaya koymaktadır. Türkiye'de ise son dönemlerde sıkça gündeme gelen bir konu olmasına rağmen bu konuya yeterli önemin verilmediği görülmektedir. Ruh sağlığı ve hastalıkları hemşireliği alanında yeni uygulamalardan biri olan hortikültürel terapi; hastaların emosyonel, fiziksel, sosyal ve bilişsel süreçlerini desteklemektedir. Ruhsal bozukluğu olan bireylerin iş ve uğraşıya yönlendirilmesi, hastaların desteklenmesini, bireylerde anksiyetenin azaltılmasını ya da giderilmesini sağlamaktadır. Bu bağlamda hortikültürel terapi, ruhsal hastalığı olan bireyler için psikiyatri alanında çalışan uzman hemşireler tarafından kullanılabilir. Makale hortikültürel terapi kavramı, terapinin uygulandığı alanın tasarımı ve uygulanma şekli, terapist özellikleri, ruh sağlığı üzerine olan etkileri ve bu terapinin ruh sağlığı hemşireliği alanında kullanımı ile ilgili derleme şeklinde tasarlanmıştır.

ABSTRACT
 Horticultural therapy is a type of therapy administered by a trained therapist that includes activities that enhance a person's social, emotional, physical, spiritual, environmental and intellectual well-being through active or passive participation in plants and plantrelated activities. This therapy is also therapeutic for people with mental health problems. Therapeutic activities such as horticultural therapy are known to have a statistically significant positive effect on health outcomes, including increased life satisfaction and quality of life, as well as reduction in depression and anxiety. There are examples of horticultural therapy gardens in health institutions in many countries around the world. These studies reveal the importance given to the subject. In Türkiye, although it is a topic that has been on the agenda recently, it is seen that this issue is not given sufficient importance. Horticultural therapy, which is one of the new applications in the field of mental health and diseases nursing; It supports patients' emotional, physical, social and cognitive processes. Directing individuals with mental disorders to work and occupation provides support to the patients and reduces or eliminates anxiety in individuals. In this context, horticultural therapy can be used by specialist nurses working in the field of psychiatry for individuals with mental illness. The article is designed as a compilation about the concept of horticultural therapy, the design of the field where the therapy is applied and the way it is applied, the characteristics of the therapist, effects on mental health and the use of this therapy in mental health nursing.

1. TERMS OF USE

1.1. 4. GENERAL PROVISIONS

4.1. "Turkiye Klinikleri" is completely free to determine which of the services and contents provided in the "SITE" will be charged.

4.2. People benefiting from the services provided by "Turkiye Klinikleri" and using the website can use the "SITE" only according to the law and only for personal reasons. Users have the criminal and civil liability for every process and action they take in the "SITE". Being late or failure of performance or non-defaulting of this and similar cases like this will not be the case from the viewpoint of "Turkiye Klinikleri", and "Turkiye Klinikleri" will not have any damage liability for these situations. "Force majeure" term will be regarded as outside of the concerned party's reasonable control and any situation that "Turkiye Klinikleri" cannot prevent even though it shows due diligence. Also, force majeure situations include but not limited to natural disasters, rebellion, war, strike, communication problems, infrastructure and internet failure, power cut and bad weather conditions.

8. LAW AND AUTHORISATION TO FOLLOW

Turkish Law will be applied in practicing, interpreting the hereby "Terms of Use" and managing the emerging legal relationships within this "Terms of Use" in case of finding element of foreignness, except for the rules of Turkish conflict of laws. Ankara Courts and Enforcement Offices are entitled in any controversy happened or may happen due to hereby contract.

9. CLOSING AND AGREEMENT

Hereby "Terms of Use" come into force when announced in the "SITE" by "Turkiye Klinikleri". The users are regarded to agree to hereby contract terms by using the "SITE". "Turkiye Klinikleri" may change the contract terms and the changes will be come into force by specifying the version number and the date of change on time it is published in the "SITE".
