Amaç: Bu bibliyometrik analiz, 2012-2021 dönemlerinde hemşirelik alanındaki kalp yetersizliği çalışmalarının eğilimlerinin tespit edilmesi ve son gelişmelerin görselleştirilmesi amacıyla yapılmıştır. Gereç ve Yöntemler: Veriler, Mart-Nisan 2022 tarihinde ''Web of Science Core Collection'' veri tabanından toplanmış, CiteSpace 5.8.R3 versiyonu kullanılarak analiz gerçekleştirilmiştir.

Objective: This bibliometric analysis was conducted to determine the trends of heart failure studies in the field of nursing and to visualize the latest developments in the 2012-2021 period. Material and Methods: The data were collected from the Web of Science Core Collection database in March-April 2022, and the analysis was performed using the 5.8.R3 version of the CiteSpace. Changes in the number of publications by years, author, country and institution analysis, journal and citation analysis, country, institution and author collaboration analysis, journal and author co-citation analysis, subject clusters and word analysis were evaluated. Results: 7,144 authors from 76 countries and 2,490 institutions contributed to 1,489 studies on heart failure published in 518 different journals between 2012 and 2021. ''Journal of Cardiovascular Nursing'' was determined as the journal with the most articles published, and ''Circulation'' was the most cited. The first 3 countries with the highest support for the published articles are the United States, England and Australia. The first 5 keywords most frequently used in published studies are ''heart failure'', ''management'', ''outcome'', ''care'', ''quality of life'', and the top 5 research topics are ''psychological intervention'', ''family caregivers'', ''skilled nursing facilities'', ''nurse-led telecoaching intervention'', and ''palliative care''. Conclusion: The results of this bibliometric analysis showed that there has been an increasing interest in the subject of heart failure in the field of nursing in the last 10 years. It is thought that the results of this study will contribute to the evaluation of the current status of studies on heart failure and to direct the research to be planned in this field.
