ABSTRACT
In this article, these ergogenic supports and their effects, which are used to increase strength in soccer, are compiled. Soccer, which is among the most popular branches in the world, is progressing in a sports branch with an increasing number of matches in recent term. This situation may cause the athletes to get tired quickly and more, poor performance and the risks of the reasons. With the players in the leagues that lasted this season; widely used among soccer players, it is popularized by the use of 1 or more products by all athletes. The reasons for the use of these products by athletes vary and one of these reasons is muscle strength increase. In line with the foods consumed and the training done, the increase in muscle strength is to provide an increase in muscle mass, which is basically accompanied by an increase in muscle protein synthesis. However, prevention of muscle damage and recovery after training for strength increase is another strategy used to increase strength. In addition, the use of a support product, which is the main fuel source of strength training, also provides an increase in strength. For these purposes, the most popular ergogenic supports used with the aim of increasing strength are increasing. As a result, among these supports; it contains vitamin D, whey protein, casein, leucine, beta-hydroxy beta-methylbutyric, creatine. Athletes need higher daily energy needs and food intake. This need increases more during the period of muscle mass gain, which is an anabolic process.
