Amaç: Bu çalışmanın amacı 4 farklı bağlayıcı ajan uygulanmış lazer sinterize kobalt-krom (Co-Cr) alaşımına akışkan kompozitin makaslama bağlantı dayanımını incelemektir. Gereç ve Yöntemler: Toplam 100 adet lazer sinterize Co-Cr örnek üretildi ve uygulanacak bağlayıcı ajana göre 5 farklı test grubuna ayrıldı (n = 20): Grup (1) kontrol, bağlayıcı ajan uygulanmadı; Grup (2) Alloy Primer (Kuraray Dental, Tokyo, Japonya) uygulandı; Grup (3) Z-Prime Plus (Bisco Inc., IL, A.B.D) uygulandı; Grup (4) Gluma Bond (Heraeus Kulzer GmbH, Hanau, Almanya) uygulandı ve Grup (5) Single Bond Universal (3M Espe GmbH, Neuss, Almanya) uygulandı. Bağlayıcı ajan uygulamasından sonra Co-Cr yüzeyler üzerine akışkan kompozit uygulandı. Örnekler 37°C'deki distile su içinde 24 saat bekletildikten sonra termalsiklusa (5ºC ve 55ºC, 30 saniye döngü süresi, 5000 siklus) tabi tutuldu ve universal test cihazında makaslama bağlantı dayanımı testi yapıldı. Örneklerde oluşan başarısızlık tipleri stereomikroskop ile incelendi. Elde edilen verilerin istatistiksel analizi tek yönlü ANOVA ile yapıldı ve sonrasında Tukey testi kullanılarak gruplara ait ortalama bağlantı dayanımı değerleri karşılaştırıldı (α=0.05). Bulgular: Çalışmada kullanılan tüm bağlayıcı ajanlar akışkan kompozit rezinin bağlantı dayanımı değerlerini istatistiksel olarak anlamlı olacak şekilde arttırmıştır. En yüksek bağlantı dayanımı değeri Single Bond Universal uygulanan grupta (18.2 ± 2.1 MPa), en düşük bağlantı dayanımı değeri kontrol grubunda bulundu (5.3± 0.8 MPa). Sonuç: Çalışmada kullanılan 4 farklı bağlayıcı ajanın akışkan kompozitin lazer sinterize Co-Cr alaşımına bağlantısında etkili olduğu, bununla birlikte Single Bond Universal uygulamasının bağlantı dayanımını daha iyi geliştirebileceği sonucuna varılmıştır.

Objective: The aim of this study was to examine the shear bond strength of a flowable composite resin to laser sintered cobalt-chromium (Co-Cr) alloy, using 4 different adhesives. Material and Methods: A total of 100 laser sintered Co-Cr samples were fabricated and divided into 5 test groups (n = 20) according to the adhesive used: group (1) control, no treatment; group (2) Alloy Primer (Kuraray Dental, Tokyo, Japan) application; group (3) Z-Prime Plus (Bisco Inc., IL, USA) application; group (4) Gluma Bond (Heraeus Kulzer GmbH, Hanau, Germany) application and group (5) Single Bond Universal (3M Espe GmbH, Neuss, Germany) application. After adhesive applications, flowable composite resin was applied to the Co-Cr surfaces. After storing in distilled water at 37°C for 24 hours, specimens were thermally cycled (5ºC and 55ºC, 30 second dwell time, 5000 cycles) and tested in shear mode in an universal testing machine. The failure modes were determined with a stereomicroscope. Mean bond strength values were analyzed by using One-way ANOVA followed by Tukey's multiple comparison tests (α=0.05). Results: All tested adhesives significantly increased the bond strength values of flowable composite resin. The highest bond strength values were observed in the Single Bond Universal application group (18.2 ± 2.1 MPa), while the lowest values were observed in the control group (5.3 ± 0.8 MPa). Conclusion: Application of each of the four adhesives was effective for bonding of flowable composite to laser sintered Co-Cr alloy, however Single Bond Universal application may result in improved bond strength values.
