ÖZET
 Amaç: Bu araştırmanın amacı, düzenli olarak e-spor oyunlarına katılım gösteren bireylerin dijital oyun oynama motivasyonu ile sporda mental dayanıklılık düzeyleri arasındaki ilişkinin incelenmesidir. Gereç ve Yöntemler: Çalışmaya Türkiye'de 5,53±1,50 yıldır espora katılan, yaş ortalaması 19,96±1,46 yıl olan 81 erkek e-sporcu gönüllü olarak katılmıştır. E-sporcuların kişisel verilerinin yanı sıra dijital oyun oynama motivasyonlarının değerlendirilmesi için Dijital Oyun Oynama Motivasyonu Ölçeği (DOOMÖ), mental dayanıklılıklarının değerlendirilmesi için Sporda Mental Dayanıklılık Ölçeği (SMDÖ) kullanılmıştır. Araştırmadaki ölçek verileri dijital platformlar aracılığı ile toplanmıştır. Ölçeklerin birbiri arasındaki ilişkisini sınamak için Pearson korelasyon analizi yapılmış olup, güven aralığı 0,05 olarak kabul edilmiştir. Bulgular: Katılımcıların SMDÖ ortalamaları 39,55±5,61; DOOMÖ ortalama puanları 75,46±8,41 olarak bulunmuştur. Bu anlamda katılımcıların her iki ölçek ortalama puanlarının, ortalamanın üzerinde olduğu görülmüştür. Katılımcıların, DOOMÖ toplam ortalama puanları ile oyun oynama süreleri arasında pozitif yönlü anlamlı ilişkiye rastlanmıştır. Elektronik sporcuların dijital oyun oynama motivasyonu değerleri ile sporda mental dayanıklılık düzeyleri arasında anlamlı bir ilişkiye rastlanmamıştır (p>0,05). Sonuç: Bu bulgulara göre dijital oyun oynama motivasyonu ortalamanın üstünde olan katılımcıların, günde en az 5 saat oyun oynama süresine sahip olduğu görülmüştür. Ancak dijital oyun oynama motivasyon düzeyi ortalamanın üstünde olan bireylerin mental dayanıklılıklarının ortalamanın üstünde olduğu söylenemez.

ABSTRACT
 Objective: The aim of this research is to examine the relationship between the motivation of playing digital games and the mental toughness levels of individuals who regularly participate in esports games. Material and Methods: Eighty-one male esports players in Türkiye who have been participating in esports for 5.53±1.50 years with a mean age of 19.96±1.46 years participated in the study voluntarily. In addition to the personal data of esports players, in order to evaluate their motivation to playing digital games; Digital Gaming Motivation Scale (DGMS) and for the assessment of their mental toughness; The Sports Mental Toughness Questionnaire (SMTQ) was used in this study. Besides, the scale data in the study were collected on the digital platform. Pearson correlation analysis was performed to test the relationship between the scales, and the confidence interval was accepted as 0.05. Results: The mean scores of the participants' SMTQ were 39.55±5.61; the mean scores of the DGMS were 75.46±8.41. In this sense, it was seen that the mean scores of both scales of the participants were above the average. A significant positive correlation was found between the total mean scores of the participants' DGMS and their playing time. No significant correlation was found between the motivation to play digital games and the level of mental toughness in sports (p>0.05). Conclusion: According to these findings, it was observed that the participants whose motivation to play digital games was above average had at least 5 hours of game playing time per day. However, it cannot be said that the mental toughness of individuals with above-average levels of motivation to play digital games is above average.

1. TERMS OF USE

"Force majeure" term will be regarded as outside of the concerned party's reasonable control and any situation that "Turkiye Klinikleri" cannot prevent even though it shows due diligence. 8. LAW AND AUTHORISATION TO FOLLOW

Turkish Law will be applied in practicing, interpreting the hereby "Terms of Use" and managing the emerging legal relationships within this "Terms of Use" in case of finding element of foreignness, except for the rules of Turkish conflict of laws. Ankara Courts and Enforcement Offices are entitled in any controversy happened or may happen due to hereby contract.

9. CLOSING AND AGREEMENT

Hereby "Terms of Use" come into force when announced in the "SITE" by "Turkiye Klinikleri". The users are regarded to agree to hereby contract terms by using the "SITE". "Turkiye Klinikleri" may change the contract terms and the changes will be come into force by specifying the version number and the date of change on time it is published in the "SITE".
