Amaç: Bu çalışmada, Fırat Üniversitesi Diş Hekimliği Fakültesi 5. sınıf öğrencilerinin Koronavirüs hastalığı-2019 [coronavirus disease-2019 (COVID-19)] bilgi, korku, korunma düzeyi ve COVID-19 pandemisinin eğitimlerine etkisini tespit etmek amaçlanmıştır. Gereç ve Yöntemler: Kesitsel olan bu çalışmaya, Fırat Üniversitesi Diş Hekimliği Fakültesi 5. sınıf öğrencileri dâhil edilmiş, 62 kişiye (%96,9) ulaşılmıştır. Veriler, anket formu aracılığıyla toplanmıştır. İstatistiksel analiz, SPSS 22.0 programı ile yapılmış, p0,05). Öğrencilerin BD, KÖP, KDP'leri arasında korelasyon saptanmamıştır (p>0,05). Sonuç: Diş hekimliği son sınıf öğrencilerinin eğitimlerinin pandemi nedeniyle etkilendiğini düşündüğü tespit edilmiştir. COVID-19 ile ilgili bilgi düzeyleri yüksek, korku düzeylerinin ise düşük olduğu görülmüştür. Klinik stajlarını sürdürmekte olan öğrenciler COVID-19'dan korunma amaçlı tedbirleri tam anlamıyla uygulamadıklarını belirtmişlerdir.

Objective: The aim of the present study is to investigate coronavirus disease-2019 (COVID-19) knowledge, fear, protection level, and the effect of COVID-19 pandemic on the education of 5th grade students dentistry. Material and Methods: Fifth grade students of Fırat University Faculty of Dentistry were included in this cross-sectional study. 62 students (96.9%) were reached. Data were collected through a questionnaire form. SPSS 22.0 were used in the statistical analyses with a significance level of p0.05). No correlation was found between students' KL, FSS, PBS scores (p> 0.05). Conclusion: It was determined that senior dentistry students thought their education was affected by the pandemic. It was observed that the level of knowledge about COVID-19 was high and the levels of fear were low. Students serving their clinical internship stated that they did not fully implement the measures to protect against COVID-19.
