Objective: The purpose of this study aimed to investigate the effects of corrective exercises, which are planned according to the functional movement screening (FMS) test results, on the vertical jump and dynamic balance skills in the developmental group basketball players at the end of 16 weeks. Material and Methods: In this study were used to determine parameters FMS kit, contact mat (Newtest Powertime- Finland) and Y balance test. Twenty five developmental group licensed male basketball players with the age of 13.5±0.52 years voluntarily participated in the study. The athletes participating in our study were randomly divided into two as control group (CG) and experimental group (EG). Athletes in the EG group (n=13) performed corrective exercises 3 days a week, except for routine basketball training, while athletes in the CG group (n=12) continued routine basketball training. Measurements of athletes' anthropometric and biomotor abilities were recorded as a pretest (T1), intermediate test (T2), and posttest (T3). Results: SPSS version 20.0 was used for the statistical analysis and evaluation of the data and p<0.05 were considered statistically significant. In the T3 tests performed at the end of 16 weeks, a significant increase was found in the dynamic balance and vertical jump data of athletes in the EG group (p<0.05). Conclusion: The vertical jump and dynamic balance abilities of the EG group, which performed the corrective exercises planned according to the FMS test results, were found to be statistically significantly different from the CG group.
