Objective: The purpose of this study is to evaluate the dental treatments performed under general anesthesia in pediatric patients. Material and Methods: The clinical records of 111 pediatric patients aged 1-12 years (mean 5.28±2.11), whose dental treatments were completed under general anesthesia between October 2017 and November 2019, were retrospectively evaluated. In the statistical analysis of the data, Fisher's exact test was used to compare the data. Data were shown as mean±standard deviation. Results: According to the data, 976 teeth were treated, including 864 (88.5%) primary teeth and 112 (11.5%) permanent teeth. As a result of the classification of decayed primary teeth according to tooth numbers; it was determined that the primary second molars (37.15%) were most affected. Restorations (47.23%), pulpal treatments (26.22%) and tooth extractions (23.67%) were found to be more common than preventive methods such as fissure sealants (2.86%). No statistically significant difference was found between dental treatments performed under general anesthesia in children with systemic diseases/disabled and healthy children. In the post-treatment controls, it was observed that the dental procedures required for all patients could be managed under clinical conditions, except for 3 of them patients who needed repeat treatments under general anesthesia. Conclusion: General anesthesia in pediatric dentistry is a preferred practice in patients with appropriate indications by allowing all dental procedures to be completed in one session, eliminating the cooperation factor in the success of the treatment and increasing the quality of life.
