Amaç: Çalışmanın amacı, çoklu eklem açı ve pozisyonlarında hareket sağlayan Fonksiyonel Hareketli Denge Sistemi'nin [Dynamic Inovative Balance (DIBA)] fonksiyonellik üzerine etkinliğinin belirlenmesidir. Gereç ve Yöntemler: Çalısmaya ya ̧ şları 18-32 yıl arasında olan 36 sagl̆ıklı erkek gönüllü katıldı. Bireyler rastgele kontrollü olarak 2 gruba ayrıldı. Çalışma grubuna DIBA ile 8 hafta ve haftada 3 gün 45- 60 dk olarak denge ve fonksiyonel eğitim uygulanırken, kontrol grubuna standart denge ekipmanları (denge tahtası, 'wobble board' ve BOSU) kullanılarak 8 hafta boyunca haftada 3 gün 45-60 dk olarak denge ve fonksiyonel eğitim uygulandı. Bireyler eğitim öncesi, eğitim sonrası 4 ve 8. haftalarda değerlendirildi. Bireylerin fonksiyonel durumlarının değerlendirilmesi için fonksiyonel uzanma testi (FUT) ve tek bacak öne hoplama (TBH) uygulandı. Bulgular: TBH testinde 4. hafta (p=0,012) ve 8. hafta (p=0,016) sonuçlarında çalışma grubunda, kontrol grubuna göre daha fazla artış olduğu belirlenirken, FUT bakımından 2 grup arasında 4. hafta (p=0,563), 8. hafta (p=0,085) anlamlı fark bulunmadı. Sonuç: Bu çalışmaya göre DIBA ile fonksiyonellik açısından olumlu etkiler sağladığından dolayı, standart denge ekipmanlarının yerine alternatif olarak veya standart denge ekipmanları ile birlikte kullanılabilir.

Objective: Dynamic Innovative Balance System (DIBA) that provides movement in multiple joint angles and positions. The aim of the study was to determine the effect of DIBA on functionality. Material and Methods: Thirty-six healthy male volunteers (aged 18-32 yrs) participated in the study. Individuals were divided into two groups including DIBA and control. Balance and functional training were applied to the study group with DIBA for 8 weeks and 3 days a week for 45-60 minutes, while the control group received conventional balance and functional training for 45-60 minutes 3 days a week for 8 weeks using standard balance equipment (balance board, wobble board and BOSU). The individuals were evaluated before the training and at the 4th and 8th weeks after the training. Functional reach test (FUT) and single leg forward hop (SLH) were applied to evaluate the functional status of the individuals. Results: In the SLH test, there was a statistically more improvement in the study group compared to the control group in the results of 4th week (p=0.012) and 8th week (p=0.016), while there was no statistically significant difference between the two groups in 4th week (p=p=0.563) and 8th week (p=0.085), in terms of FUT. Conclusion: According to this study, it should be used instead of standard balance equipment or with standard balance equipment in which DIBA provides positive effects in terms of functionality.
