Genç Kadınlarda Toplumsal Cinsiyet Rolü Stresinin Cinsel Sağlık ve Üreme Sağlığında Damgalama İle İlişkisi: Kesitsel Bir Araştırma

ÖZET
 Amaç: Bu çalışma, 18-24 yaş arasındaki kadınların, toplumsal cinsiyet rolü stresi ile cinsel sağlık-üreme sağlığı damgalaması arasındaki ilişkinin belirlenmesi amacıyla yapıldı. Gereç ve Yöntemler: Kesitsel tipte yürütülen araştırma, 15 Nisan-15 Haziran 2023 tarihleri arasında 207 genç kadın ile yürütüldü. Katılımcıların sosyodemografik özelliklerinin ve ölçek puanlarının analizinde tanımlayıcı istatistikler ile ölçeklerin puanları arasındaki ilişkinin belirlenmesinde ise Pearson korelasyon analizi kullanıldı. Bulgular: Katılımcılar, ortalama 21,64±1,56 (minimum: 18, maksimum: 24) yaşında ve %72,5'i üniversite öğrencisi idi. Genç kadınların Kadın Toplumsal Cinsiyet Rolü Stresi Ölçeği puan ortalaması 81,90±18,43 (minimum:20, maksimum:100), Genç Kadınlarda Cinsel ve Üreme Sağlığı Damgalama Ölçeği ortalaması ise 7,28±2,84 (minimum:0, maksimum:15) puan olarak bulundu. Damgalama ölçeğinin alt boyutları arasında en yüksek puanı dışsal damgalama [4,20±1,57 (minimum: 0, maksimum: 6)], en düşük puanı ise gerçek olmayan damgalama tutumları alt boyutundan [1,09±1,20 (minimum: 0, maksimum: 6)] aldıkları belirlendi. İki ölçeğin puan ortalamaları arasında anlamlı bir ilişki saptanmadı (p>0,05). Ancak Genç Kadınlarda Cinsel ve Üreme Sağlığı Damgalama Ölçeği alt boyutları ile toplumsal cinsiyet rolü stresi arasında anlamlı bir ilişki olduğu görüldü (p<0,05). Katılımcıların toplumsal cinsiyet rollerine ait streslerinin dışsal damgalama ile pozitif (r=0,150; p=0,031), gerçek olmayan damgalama tutumları ile ise negatif (r=-0,154; p=0,027) yönde bir ilişkisi olduğu tespit edildi. Sonuç: Çalışmamızdaki genç kadınların toplumsal cinsiyet rolü stresleri yüksektir. Cinsel sağlık-üreme sağlığı damgalamaları ise ortalama düzeyde olup, dışsal damgalama düzeyi arttıkça toplumsal cinsiyet rolü stresleri de artmaktadır.

ABSTRACT
 Objective: This study was aimed to determine the relationship between gender role stress and sexual health-reproductive health stigma among women aged 18-24. Material and Methods: The research was cross-sectional study. This study was conducted with 207 young women between April 15 and June 15, 2023. Descriptive statistics were used to analyze the socio-demographic characteristics of the participants and the relationship between scale scores. Pearson correlation analysis was employed to determine the correlation between scale scores. Results: The participants were 21.64±1.56 (minimum: 18, maximum: 24) years old on average, 72.5% were university students. He mean score for the Women's Gender Role Stress Scale among young women was 81.90±18.43 (minimum: 20, maximum: 100), while the mean score for the Sexual and Reproductive Health Stigma Scale was 7.28±2.84 (minimum: 0, maximum: 15) points. The sub-dimension with the highest score among the stigma scale's dimensions is external stigma [4.20±1.57 (minimum: 0, maximum: 6)], while the lowest score is obtained from the sub-dimension of unreal stigma attitudes [1.09±1.20 (minimum: 0, maximum: 6)]. No significant relationship was found between the mean scores of the two scales (p>0.05). However, a significant relationship was observed between the subscales of the Sexual and Reproductive Health Stigma Scale and gender role stres among young women (p<0.05). It was determined that participants' stress related to societal gender roles had a positive correlation with external stigma (r=0.150; p=0.031) and a negative correlation with unreal stigma attitudes (r=-0.154; p=0.027). Conclusion: The young women had the high gender role stress in our study. Sexual health-reproductive health stigma is at an average level, and as the level of external stigma increases, gender role stress also increases.

"Force majeure" term will be regarded as outside of the concerned party's reasonable control and any situation that "Turkiye Klinikleri" cannot prevent even though it shows due diligence. Also, force majeure situations include but not limited to natural disasters, rebellion, war, strike, communication problems, infrastructure and internet failure, power cut and bad weather conditions.

8. LAW AND AUTHORISATION TO FOLLOW

Turkish Law will be applied in practicing, interpreting the hereby "Terms of Use" and managing the emerging legal relationships within this "Terms of Use" in case of finding element of foreignness, except for the rules of Turkish conflict of laws. Ankara Courts and Enforcement Offices are entitled in any controversy happened or may happen due to hereby contract.

9. CLOSING AND AGREEMENT

Hereby "Terms of Use" come into force when announced in the "SITE" by "Turkiye Klinikleri". The users are regarded to agree to hereby contract terms by using the "SITE". "Turkiye Klinikleri" may change the contract terms and the changes will be come into force by specifying the version number and the date of change on time it is published in the "SITE".
