The news of these newspapers published between March 2020 and January 2021 were examined with the keywords 'nurse' and 'nursing'. The sample of the study consisted of 267 news articles directly related to nursing. News; they were grouped under 4 themes: 'Situations experienced by a nurse individually related to COVID-19', 'occupational situations of a nurse related to COVID-19', 'occupational situations experienced by a nurse other than COVID-19' and 'personal issues'. SPSS 18 program was used in the analysis of quantitative data. Frequency and percentage values were calculated. Results: When the news is analyzed in terms of themes, 33% of them are 'the situations that the nurse has experienced individually related to COVID-19', 29.6% 'the situations where the nurse has experienced professionally other than COVID-19', 19.9% of the cases with COVID-19 'occupational situations experienced by the relevant nurse' and 17.6% of them were 'personal issues'.
